Stormfest would like to say a sincere thank you and congratulations to all teams that participated for our first ever tournament. Without your belief in what we were trying to do, this would not have been possible. The level of play and competition in this tournament was phenomenal. We hope to see you all return next year.

Campbell River Minor Hockey Stormfest would like to extend a huge thank you to the Campbell River RCMP and Fire Department for presenting the Stormfest trophy for our inaugural tournament, and also a thank you for all that you do in the community!

Campbell River Stormfest was created as a way to grow and celebrate the female game. That includes featuring some of our younger players in the hopes of helping them fall in love with the game for life.

Stormfest hosted the Campbell river u7/9 hurricanes and the Comox Valley u7/9 flyers for a match on saturday. Afterwards, the athletes were treated to a pizza lunch.

Supporting female hockey starts from the beginning. Our hope is that these girls will continue to enjoy this game for years to come.

And now, the volunteers, players, coaches, fans, and everyone else who made stormfest possible can finally take a rest.

The tournament committee would like to give a huge thank you to the volunteers for all their work this weekend. From raffle table to timekeepers, this weekend would not have been possible without you.

We would like to thank all the teams that attended stormfest for our first year! Your excitement and determination brought life to what was only an idea for so long. We hope you enjoyed the tournament and will return for years to come.

A big thank you to our wonderful CR officials for a job well done. Without refs, our kids wouldn’t be able to do what they love

And finally, I would like to say a big thank you to the incredible tournament committee. Their works behind the scenes constantly helped the tournament run smoothly. They were troubleshooting and rearranging schedules to make sure everyone gets their games for hours. They worked from months prior to see this tournament to completion. Their dedication to growing the game of female hockey was the key to making this weekend a success.

A sincere thank you to all of you for supporting our first ever Stormfest and following along all weekend. More pictures to come soon!
