A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing community leaders who joined us to showcase their culture and community during the very first edition of the Afro-Caribbean Festival YYC. Your presence and contributions made the festival truly special and enriched the experience for everyone involved.

We look forward to welcoming you all again next year and continuing to celebrate the vibrant diversity of our communities!

A big thanks to Calgary for supporting the first edition of Afro Caribbean Festival YYC.

A big thanks to the volunteers, performers, vendors, MCs, DJs, contractors, models, The City of Calgary, Calgary Cultural Days, Calgary Foundation, The Oladele Foundation, and the community who came out to support.

It was an amazing experience of the rich and colourful Afro Caribbean culture; from the exciting flag parade, through the delicious food, entertaining performances, and fabulous fashion show, to amazing art and craft market - thank you, thank you, and thank you once again…!

See you next year for an even more amazing Afro Caribbean Festival YYC 2026.
