Bow80

Bow80 The Bow80 is the final marathon race for most riders and racers in western Canada. For 2013, the Bow80 is also the Alberta Provincial Marathon Championships!

Part of Special K will make up the Enduro part of the Bow80! Because of the damage done to the Kananaskis Country area, we will not be holding the 2013 edition of the Bow80. Instead, we are hosting a trail day to help get more trails in better shape for riding! We invite you to join us.

Our Story

For 2019, Bow Cycle & Sports is planning a Private80 or Return of the King, (I am not sure what I want to call it currently) Racers, and if you can still see this page you made the cut, will be allowed entry based on previous palmares of the Bow80. Others who learn of it, may petition for entry and best be prepared to show their worthiness. The “ride” will be based out of River Cove campground (circumventing some rules with this) and follow the classic route.

Is this a full Bow Cycle event? Yes and no, the spolumbos and and beer will be there and I want to have the two feedzones. Is there full radios coverage? nope but Franzky will be sweeping the course courtesy of his eBike. Still fleshing the whiole thing out but that is the plan for now.
