Officially opened on November 14, 1974, CTCC has been at the heart of Calgary gatherings for more than 30 years. With approximately 122,000 square feet of space, CTCC can accommodate groups as small as four and as large as four thousand. Our flexible space includes 36 meeting rooms, 47,000 square feet of exhibit space, a 20,000 square foot ballroom and five pre-function areas. And although our facility is completely dedicated to conventions, meetings and events, we are conveniently connected through indoor pathways to three four-star hotel partners.

For many of the people who visit the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, the experience starts before they come through our doors.

Thousands of guests come through the CTCC every year, and Janice and her team make sure we’re ready for them, from the moment they walk through the doors to the moment they head home.

When everything feels clean, cared for, and ready to go, you probably don’t think twice about it—and that’s no accident. It means delegates can focus on the event, not the space around them.

Being your true self can often take a kind of courage that isn’t always easy to explain.

That’s the inspiration behind Finn Frankowski’s Pride mural, Heart in my Hands, now on display at the CTCC. It explores what it means to be LGBTQIA+ in Alberta, and the courage and vulnerability that comes from being open about who you are.

We’re honoured to share this beautiful piece, and even more grateful for the conversation and connection it inspires.

Consider this an apology if you were at FallCon this weekend and ended up running late for something else.

Because we all know how easily "one quick game" turns into three hours. With board games, miniatures, tournaments and tables packed with players all weekend long, hours disappeared in the best way possible.

Thanks to everyone who came out to FallCon 39 this weekend. Seeing friends, families and fellow game lovers come together around the same table is exactly the kind of gathering we love to see.

If you were looking for trading cards this weekend, this was the place to be.

Karuta Alley Market brought collectors, vendors, artists and fans together for a weekend of browsing, trading and showing off some seriously impressive finds.

Alongside the market, attendees also took part in the first-ever western Canadian Bandai Namco One Piece 512 TCG tournament. Packed tables, hundreds of competitors, debates over strategy, and the thrill of victory all added even more energy to the CTCC.
