A little photo dump from this past Sunday at the Lilac Festival!
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came out, supported local businesses, enjoyed the entertainment, and helped make this year's festival such a memorable day.
Over the past few days, we've received a lot of feedback from attendees. We genuinely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts, experiences, and perspectives with us. Community feedback helps us learn, grow, and continue improving the festival year after year.
The Lilac Festival has always been about bringing people together from all walks of life. We are fortunate to live in a country where individuals and organizations can express their views and engage with the community. While not everyone will agree on every topic or perspective, we believe in fostering a respectful environment where people can connect, learn, and share ideas.
As part of our post-event review process, we will be reviewing all event policies and procedures, including guidelines related to soliciting attendees and engaging with the public, to ensure the festival continues to provide a positive experience for all participants and guests.
Our focus remains on creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive event that celebrates community, local businesses, culture, and the diverse voices that make Calgary such a vibrant city.
