2026 APPLEFEST APPLICATIONS CLOSE SOON ⏰🍎

Applications to be a vendor or performer at Applefest 2026 close tomorrow, June 1st at 11:59 p.m. This is your last chance to apply; late submissions will not be accepted.

We also want to thank everyone who has applied to be part of Applefest this year! We have received over 300 applications from interested vendors 🤯

Now the fun begins...😄

Our organizers will begin to sort through each application, reviewing applicant responses and selecting vendors that best align with our festival. Once our lineup of vendors is confirmed, we will begin contacting vendors via the email they provided with the next steps to secure their space at the festival. We are hoping to have this process complete by mid-June.

❗Please note: Applications from local vendors (i.e., vendors based out of Northumberland, Hastings or Prince Edward County) will be given priority. We remind vendors that Applefest is a curated event. Applefest reserves the right to accept and/or decline applications using their professional judgment. Only successful applicants will be contacted.

Hard copies of the forms are also available at the Municipal Centre, 35 Alice Street in Brighton, during regular business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS - REGISTER FOR THE APPLEFEST "APPLE SEED" FUNDING PROGRAM ❗

This program, 🆕 in 2025, allows ONE local charity to facilitate and keep the proceeds from the 50/50 run at the Applefest Car Show.

If selected for this opportunity, organizations will receive the following:
🎪 a 10x10 booth space at the Car Show
😎 free advertising on the Brighton Applefest website, social media pages and brochure and,
💲 50% of the proceeds generated at the Applefest Car Show on Saturday, September 27th

To qualify for this opportunity, organizations must:
✅ be a registered charity with a registered charity number,
✅ have, or be able to get, a lottery license based on the requirements outlined by the AGCO,
✅ be located in or benefit residents of the Municipality of Brighton,
✅ be able to articulate a project you are working towards that the funds collected would go towards completing or supporting and,
✅ agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined in the application

Are you a local Brighton business or organization thinking about hosting an event during Applefest weekend (September 24 to 27, 2026)? Get it added to the festival's official Event Lineup!

MUSICIANS MARK YOUR CALENDARS 📅

Applications for this year's Applefest Music in the Park open April 1st!

Performances at Applefest will take place on Saturday, September 26th in Memorial Park between 9:00am and 4:00pm. Each musician will be allotted approximately one hour to perform. There are no headliners at Applefest.

A reminder that the application process is two steps:
1️⃣ Interested musicians/musical groups must submit an application to the Applefest Music Coordinator for consideration.
2️⃣ Selected musicians/musical groups will then be contacted by the Applefest Musical Coordinator AFTER the June 1st deadline to apply to complete the next steps.

VENDOR SCAM ALERT ❗

Vendors interested in applying to Brighton Applefest are asked to be mindful of scam accounts commenting on social media posts offering booth spaces and to add businesses to the Applefest vendor lineup.

This year's Applefest applications do not open until April 1st and will only be accepted:
🧑‍💻 online through the Municipality of Brighton's website,
📥 or by the alternative submission methods listed on the hard copy application.

All communication from the Applefest Coordinator to potential vendors will be done via email or over the phone, with the information provided by potential vendors on their application forms.

Based on our previous experiences, unfortunately, this will not be the last scam we have associated with the festival. Please remember to stay vigilant and be cautious of all messages asking for money or that appear to be spreading misinformation. Do not engage with anyone claiming to represent Applefest unless you can verify their identity.
