Snug Cove MusicFest (the “MusicFest”) is a community-based celebration of music for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our goal is to bring great bands to Bowen Island and connect our residents and friends from neighbouring communities, all of whom can come together to enjoy the music, dance, sing along, reacquaint with old friends and make new ones, and generally be happy. ht to you by The Bowen Island Live Music Company, a not-for-profit corporation, and Union SteamShip Co. All people organizing the MusicFest are unpaid volunteers and 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales is used to pay the performers and out-of-pocket expenses that are necessary to put on the event. Our first event was held on July 16, 2022 with Current Swell, Jon and Roy, Jesse Roper, Daniel Wesley and Ryan McMahon on the bill. Our event in 2023 will be held on July 22 and features The Cave Singers, Michigan Rattlers, Elliott BROOD, The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer and Shred Kelly! All ages are welcome. Tickets are being sold through eventbrite.com. Adult tickets, inclusive of all taxes and fees, are $99 if purchased in April. After that, they're $119. There is special pricing for youth/kids ($15 for kids aged 12 and under and $49.50, for youth aged 13-18). Terms and conditions for attendees can be found on eventbrite.com.
