We also extend our further gratitude to our referees for ensuring fair play throughout the tournament – without you, the game cannot happen.

Thank you to our coaches for their dedication and guidance in getting our players to this point.

We would also like to thank ALL the parents and siblings who spend countless evenings and weekends at the rink so these players can do what they love.

🏒 U11 Hockey Provincials Championship Game Final Score – Victory for the Mustangs! 🏒

What a thrilling final! After three days of intense action and unforgettable moments, the MacGregor Mustangs have claimed the U11 Hockey Manitoba Provincial Championships, presented by Cargill, with a hard-fought victory over the Roblin Stars! 🏆

Final Score:
MacGregor Mustangs 5 – Roblin Stars 4

This game was the culmination of an incredible journey. In the round-robin portion of the tournament, it was the Roblin Stars who dominated with a 7-1 victory, leaving the MacGregor Mustangs as clear underdogs heading into the final. But what a difference a few days—and a whole lot of heart—make! 💪

The Mustangs entered this game with a chip on their shoulder, determined to prove themselves. They gave everything they had and battled through the adversity, showing that anything is possible in hockey. It wasn’t just about skill—it was about grit, resilience, and believing in themselves, even when the odds were stacked against them. 🏒🔥

For the Roblin Stars, this upset will no doubt sting. But that's the beauty of hockey—anything can happen, and sometimes the underdogs rise up and surprise you. The Stars should hold their heads high for their amazing run to the final, and be proud of the heart and talent they displayed throughout the tournament. This was a tournament full of memorable moments, and they were a huge part of it. 💙

The Mustangs have earned their moment of glory, and they will forever be the 2025 U11 Rural C Hockey Manitoba Provincial Champions. But no matter the result, both teams have shown us what youth hockey is all about—passion, perseverance, and sportsmanship. 🏒🥅💥

The Teulon Tigers have ROARED to victory over the Elm Creek Lightning in a hard-fought battle for the bronze medal! 🐯⚡️ Both teams gave it EVERYTHING they had over the last 3 days! 🙌💥

The Lightning fought HARD to get that tying goal, leaving it ALL on the ice 🥅🔥, but the Tigers’ defense stood STRONG and refused to let an upset happen! 💪🚫 What a show of heart, grit, and teamwork from both sides! 👏👏

Incredible sportsmanship and great Canadian hockey through and through! 🇨🇦🏒✨

What an intense battle in today’s Consolation Final! 💪 The Cross Lake Islanders gave it their all and fought hard throughout, but in the end, it was the Rivers Jets who came out on top!

A huge congratulations to both teams for their outstanding effort this weekend! 🌟 While the Islanders didn’t get the result they hoped for, they showed tremendous heart and sportsmanship.

🎉 A BIG THANK YOU to all of our amazing raffle prize donators for the Provincial Hockey Tournament! 🏒 Your generosity not only helps raise the funds necessary to put on fantastic events for the kids, but it also adds that extra level of excitement, giving everyone the chance to walk away with some awesome prizes and sweeten an already incredible weekend!

A special shoutout to Ashley McMorris and Kristen Magnifico for spearheading the entire prize portion, creating the 50/50 jersey cutouts, getting the program ready, AND being in charge of the decor to spruce up our small rink. We know our old barn could use a facelift/new build (maybe someday🤞), but you two sure made it shine this weekend! ✨

We also want to send a huge thank you to all the other amazing team moms who came in to help pull everything together on Thursday night. All hands on deck truly made light work! 🙌

🏒 **Provincial Hockey Battle – Game 14 Update!** 🏒

What an incredible battle on the ice! In a jaw-dropping upset, the ** #5 ranked MacGregor Mustangs** have *defeated* the ** #1 ranked Teulon Tigers** in a game full of heart and intensity! 🔥

The Mustangs fought with everything they had, showing incredible resilience and skill as they secured their spot in the **championship game**. 🏆💪 Meanwhile, the Teulon Tigers, though defeated, will now head to the **bronze medal game**! 🥉

It was an intense, back-and-forth match with some incredible plays from both sides. But in the end, the Mustangs pulled off the upset of the tournament, proving that anything can happen in hockey. 🏒💥

Huge congratulations to both teams for such an outstanding display of skill and heart. The Tigers' road to the gold medal has come to an end, but they still have a chance to battle for bronze! The Mustangs are on to the championship, ready to take on all comers!

The energy from this game will surely carry into the final matchups as we head toward the gold medal showdown! 🙌

🚨 **GAME 13: WHAT. A. GAME.** 🚨

It doesn’t get much better than this! 🔥 This morning’s U11 Hockey Provincials was an absolute **barn burner**! 🏒💥

The action was NON-STOP! 💥 Regulation time ended in a **4-4 tie** 🙌, and after a **10-minute overtime** full of heart-stopping moments, it was STILL tied 4-4! 😱

A **shootout** determined the winner, and it was a spectacle to remember! 🔥🏒💥

A HUGE shoutout to our Boissevain Border Kings’ incredible team manager, Carol! 🙌 She’s the mastermind behind EVERYTHING—from booking the ice, getting jerseys ready, sending emails, scheduling referees, and SO MUCH MORE! 🏒📧 Whether she’s captaining the Provincial weekend planning or keeping all the behind-the-scenes magic flowing smoothly, Carol truly does it all. 💪✨
