Special Thank you to.....

Tim Challner who worked so hard all weekend to ensure we had music and goal horns for each game! The music really makes the atmosphere!

Betty Brake who worked hard keeping the canteen running smoothly all weekend! We appreciate the long hours you put in to make that a success.

Aiden McCoy - A student who worked along side Municipal staff to assist with the extra needs of a tournament of this size. Very much appreciated.

Referees - without you there is no game. Your professionalism does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

Thank-you so much for your very gracious offer to volunteer your time at our U11 Rural "B" Hockey Provincials in our home community of Boissevain! Many individuals never get the chance to participate in such a prestigious event during their entire hockey career. We feel very fortunate to host such a community event that will provide lasting memories for all involved. We could not have done this without the generosity and commitment of our many volunteers!

Now that the Provincial weekend has passed us it’s time to start our Thank-you’s. I am going to start with a big one! To our head tournament organizers Lauree Latimer and Kristen Dales. These two women took the initiative to apply to Hockey Manitoba to host this tournament, confident in their community’s ability to host an event of this magnitude.

They were integral in pre-planning and throughout the weekend, they were onsite daily from start to finish ensuring that everything was executed perfectly , and it sure was! Amazing job ladies!

And in their own barn…your 2022 U11 Rural B Gold Medalists the Boissevain Border Kings! We are so proud of you! ❤️💙
