Yesterday we mentioned about the Youth Trials, on Saturday and Sunday and had some questions about kids of other ages that may like to participate.
Youth class is a mini version of trials. Ages (6-10), small wheel motorcycles, gas, or electric. CMA membership is $30 for the calendar year and is only good for Trials.
Junior is a full CMA class, but is the introductory class to a full trials competition. Ages (11 and up). Any size motorcycle can be used, gas, or electric. Any type of off road motorcycle can be used, but the advantage would be with a trials specific bike. A full CMA license is required $80 and it is good for any discipline of off road competition in 2018. The license is required to protect the competitors, spectators, the host club and the landowners.
As many of you will remember each section is broken down into several lines of increasing difficulty. The class progression goes as follows.
Junior, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert. The Championship class that was at the Nationals, is only a national class and is composed of Experts, who wish to contest for the #1 plate.
All classes are fun as it is progression of skill that gets riders from the easy line to the difficult Expert lines.
