Thank you to everyone who came out to Belmont Music in the Park this weekend. ☀️

Whether this was your first year with us or you’ve been coming since the beginning, thank you for spending part of your long weekend in Belmont.

It was so nice to see our community buzzing with families, friends, visitors, and so many new faces.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who helped plan, set up, organize, and pack everything away.

To our performers, our sound technician, the Belmont Fire Department, the vendors, and everyone who created such a fun kids’ area, thank you for making the day so special.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make our new car show such a success.

Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word by sharing our posts, handing out flyers, inviting friends, or telling someone about the event.

We learned a few things this year, and we’re already excited to start planning next year’s event.

Seeing Belmont so full of people enjoying the day made all the hard work worth it.

Meet Dustin Drinkwater! 🎶

From Glenboro, Manitoba, Dustin Drinkwater has loved country music from a very young age. He started playing guitar when he was just 12 years old and has been singing country music ever since.

Inspired by Johnny Cash, Dustin’s love of country music grew to include artists like Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Randy Travis, and many of today’s country artists.

Over the years, Dustin has written and performed many of his own songs while continuing to enjoy the country music scene.

Come out this Saturday, August 1, and enjoy Dustin’s live performance at Belmont Music in the Park! ☀️

Meet Ian Reid! 🎸

We’re excited to welcome back the incredibly talented Ian Reid to this year’s Belmont Music in the Park.

Ian is a gifted singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose performances blend voice, guitar, and ukulele with captivating stories from home and his travels around the world.

Since 2008, Ian has performed at more than 1,000 shows and recorded ten albums, earning the admiration of audiences and fellow musicians alike.

Here’s what others have said about Ian:

Meet Liza‑Jane Porter🎤

Liza‑Jane Porter has loved music since she was a child. She grew up singing along with her mom and later taught herself guitar after watching her dad play.

She began performing live in 2015, sharing songs that tell real stories about everyday life.

Her sound is warm, soulful, and shaped by the prairie roots she now calls home.

Today, Liza‑Jane lives just outside Belmont, where she and her husband run a busy farm with two children, cattle, sheep, and a few cheeky chickens.

Life is full, but music is always close to her heart.

Come enjoy her live performance this Saturday, August 1.
