There is always some humour in every situation. After a scary dismount Molly Hill’s horse took off with her saddle turned under her belly. With the help of many volunteers, organizers, and fellow riders Sephie was found. We are glad that she will be okay, just stiff and sore. Molly, also stiff and sore, got special transportation to supper and back thanks to Arend deVries. Even after all this Molly is still smiling!

We are in need of volunteers to watch gates this weekend. Shifts are noon-3pm and 3pm-finish which will be around 6/7pm. Can anyone help us out??

Not enough thanks can be sent out to the Alberta Equestrian Federation for the club funding grant for the Bellis Summer Sizzler FEI Stewards course. Here are some of our wonderful officials (both stewards and vet designates) at work during the race.

What an amazing morning we had back on June 30th for the first (and hopefully annual) FEI race held out in Bellis, AB. Here we have the 100 mile racers heading out bright and early in the morning with their cheering crews sending them off with well wishes.
