The Beachburg Fibrefest is THIS Sunday - September 14th, 10am - 4pm!

Here’s just a taste of what’s waiting for you at the Beachburg Fairgrounds:

🎨 Demonstrations all day long – weaving, flax processing, hide tanning, spinning, quilting, circular sock machine knitting, and sheep shearing!
🧵 Shop our market – an incredible lineup of fibre, textile, and artisan vendors.
🍴 Delicious eats – Norki’s, Christine’s Canteen, and our Tea Room.
🧶 Quilt Gallery – explore beautiful quilts and the unique stories behind them.
🎶 Live music – enjoy the sounds of Dale Yuke and a surprise fiddling & step dancing performance in the afternoon.
👧 Children’s Fibre Art Area – a variety of FREE crafts for kids to explore and enjoy (while supplies last)
🐑 Meet the animals – alpacas, specialty sheep, and meet & greet with Renfrew County 4-H!

Beachburg Fibrefest is THIS Sunday!
We are excited to host you on Sunday from 10am - 4pm at the Beachburg Fairgrounds.

We have just 2 spaces remaining for our Basket Weaving Workshop with Sharron Jansen on Sunday. 🌿

In this 2-hour session, you’ll learn the art of cane basket weaving, and take home your very own handmade basket — plus the foundational skills to start your own weaving practice. Come make a basket, grab lunch, and enjoy an afternoon at the Fibrefest!

S.G. Reid is the author of the Crash Proof Series, a gripping trilogy years in the making. We’re excited to welcome another great vendor for Beachburg Fibrefest: Catherine and Dwight of Cheff Fields Farm Alpacas!

Their farm is home to alpacas, Babydoll sheep, and Valais Blacknose sheep, and visitors are invited to stop by their outdoor booth to meet these adorable animals. Cheff Fields Farm also offers a wonderful line of products made from their own fibre, including:

✨ Hand-dyed and natural-coloured yarns from the farm
