HUGE FESTIVAL NEWS

The National Dodgeball Festival has been transferred to a very exciting partner. Tournkey is an innovated leader in the sports management field.
Tournkey is a company specializing in event management software, primarily focused on the sports industry, providing a platform for organizing everything from grassroots tournaments to large-scale athletic events, including managing travel, registration, scoring, and other logistical aspects all within one system; essentially acting as a one-stop shop for event organizers across various sports and community gatherings.
This is a huge partner for the dodgeball community.

We had hoped to get the transfer done in time for 2025 but due to facility dates and short time lines the decision is made to return in 2026 bigger than ever. Below is a statement from Tournkey concerning the festival. I hope you all
will return and make the festival the best in the world with this new and very exciting partner.

Hey Everyone!
We wanted to take a moment to update you on the National Dodgeball Festival.
In our excitement, we previously hinted at big news coming for 2025. After carefully assessing the situation, our team came to the difficult but necessary decision to shift our focus to 2026.
We plan to deliver the best possible event—one that lives up to the energy, competition, and community which has always made the Festival so special. Taking this extra time allows us to create an even bigger and better experience for everyone involved.
We appreciate your support and patience, and we promise it will be worth the wait. Stay tuned for updates as we work towards an incredible 2026 event!

Salute to our festival staff. Our staff was amazing all weekend and they see the festival as an important event. They care no they work so hard it is truly amazing to see behind the scenes. Missing from the video is Brian Risk who was locked away all weekend doing schedules and score keeping. An original founder Brian is a valuable member of our festival team. Thank you to our staff for your hard work at the festival.

Introducing our Tournament MVP’s

Women - Marie-Pier Blanchard - Unstoppable

Men - Josh Kadish - Sashay Away

For the first time in festival history our tournament MVP did not come from the winning team. In fact this year it happened twice. Marie-Pier Blanchard was a force for Unstoppable all weekend and in the final stepped up her game keeping her team in the hunt to the final whistle. Her strong play and leadership was evident in the court.
Josh Kadish was also selected from the silver medalists, Sashay Away. He played a huge part in their success all tournament. His strong play and leadership were a force on the floor and kept his team at the top of the leaderboard all weekend. Both these players led with their play and were deserving winners of the Mr. and Miss Dodgeball titles.

Introducing our 2023 Medalists
A Mixed Intermediate

The mixed intermediate division was a strong field of teams. In the end the final four included Grizzlies, Activ8, Duck Dodgers and Ella Val. The Grizzlies defeated a very good Duck Dodger team 4-3 in one semi final while Activ8 beat Ella Val 4-1 in the other semi final.
The bronze medal match saw Duck Dodgers beat Ella Val 4-0 to claim the medal.
The final was a great match but in the end the Grizzlies proved too strong winning the title with a 4-0 win over Activ8. Congrats to all teams.

Introducing our 2023 Medalists. Mixed Intermediate B Division

Mixed Intermediate B was a battle of many great teams. The final four included Outkast, The Mushrooms, Eat It or Beat It and Capybara. In the semi finals OutKast beat Capybara 4-2 in a tight game while The Mushrooms got by Eat It or Beat It 5-1.
The bronze medal match saw Eat It or Beat It win 4-3 in a seesaw match over Capybara.
The final in B saw Outkast defeat The Mushrooms 6-2. The Mushrooms were later inducted into the Festival Hall of Fame but more on that in another post. Congratulations to all teams.

Introducing our 2023 Medalists

C Mixed Intermediate

The mixed intermediate C division had lots of hard fough games. The final four were Passive Aggressive (free agents), Trash Pandas, Renegades and Even Nicer People. Trash Pandas advanced to the final with a 5-0 win over the Renegades while Passive Aggressive beat Even Nicer People 4-2.
The bronze medal match saw the Renegades win 5-2 over Even Nicer People.
In the final Passive Aggressive battled a tough Trash Panda Squad earning a 4-3 win for the gold.

Introducing our 2023 Medalists. Mixed Competitive A

The mixed competitive division was a slugfest all weekend. These teams battled each other hard with Vibes, Plot Twist, Capital Punishment and Atlas advancing to the semi finals. Vibes advanced to the final with a 5-1 win over Atlas while Plot Twist got by a tough Capital Punishment team 4-2.
In the bronze medal match Capital Punishment broke out and beat Atlas 6-1 to win bronze.
Vibes won their National Festival title with a hard fought 5-2 win over Plot Twist A

Introducing our 2023 Medalists - A mixed Recreational

The Mixed Recreational division was very competitive. The final four teams were the Poppin Bobas, DUI, Bankai and Frontline. In the semi finals the Poppin Bobas got by Bankai 3-1 in a tough contest while DUI beat Frontline 4-3 in another barn burner. The Bronze medal match saw Bankai battle to a 4-2 victory over Frontline.
In the gold medal match the Poppin Bobas squeaked out a narrow 3-2 victory over DUI to win the National title.
