Hello all! ENTRIES CLOSE TOMORROW, so fill 'em in today to avoid the late fee.
Please ignore the $10 per stall fee on the entry form. That is not supposed to be paid up front, it is a *suggested* donation to the Yellowhead 4H club to be paid to them directly if you choose not to clean your own stalls. If you clean them out yourselves, NO fee applies at all.
I have written to the show registrar to let them know. :)

2026 Barriere Triple Header CGS Show

Here's to another incredible show classified by Callum McLeod , judged by Chelsey Simmons and Chris Grab, and organized and run by the amazing Linda Carlson !

As a 2 ring show ring 1 is judged by Chelsea and ring 2 is Chris.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen ( Sharon Threatful and Alexis Nelson ) and to everyone who came to make it into another unforgettable experience 🖤.

*UPADATE* traffic is moving!

There is an accident in McLure. North of the campground and south of the fruit stand. Alexis made it home but it appears traffic is stopped now.... will update as I find out. Might want to check drive B.C too. Sharon 250-571-2451 if you want to call

OK friends... STALL ASSIGNMENTS! 110 goats. NO WAY will they all fit, so I am leaving all my dry stock and bucks at home.
Even so, it's going to be tight, and I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. There are places around the edges to set up milk stands and perhaps you can have most of your tack in boxes in front of stalls, or in your vehicles.

Here is a screenshot of the layout. Please message me (Linda Carlson) if you want a PDF you can print out at home, I'd be happy to send it to you. This will also be posted at the barn and your names will be on your stalls.
Sharon, so sorry, please bring a divider to split that giant 4H "lounge" area, we need that for your goats. The back half can stay, a nice place to sit if it's raining!

(Also, humble advance request, I am going to be chained to the show table, so please consider helping to show my goats in the ring. I have Nigerians and AOP by the bucketload. Vicki will give you their names, they all freshened in April, lol. Maybe I should make a signup sheet for them!)

Well guys the new roof is on (Woo hoo!!!) and it is raining now, so hopefully we will have a sunny weekend! The 4-H horse kids are putting a concession (hot dogs with all the fixins, snacks and drink) at the riding arena on Saturday. By donation, cash only and they are donating the profits to the Highschool trip to France!

It's 2:30 AM and entries are compiled! Final numbers:

4H/Youth - 12 total exhibitors! (10 4H, 2 Open Youth)
NIGERIANS: 33 - 21 Senior, 12 Junior, 7 Exhibitors
NUBIANS: 27 - 12 Senior, 15 Junior, 4 Exhibitors
AOP: 22 - 14 Senior, 8 Junior, 4 Exhibitors
BUCKS: 16 - 13 Senior, 3 Junior, 8 Exhibitors

WE HAVE OVER 100 GOATS COMING!
This means we will probably not have enough space for tack rooms, so please prepare accordingly - vehicles may be parked on site, close to the barn, and can store your stuff. The 4H club has two milk stands for general use.
I will house some of my goats outside again this year.

The barn stall planning is my next task. That plus clipping more goats if I can just squeeze another 3 hours into each day, lol.
