The Grand River Adventure

The Grand River Adventure Welcome to the FIFTH Annual Grand River Adventure...paddling the Grand River from start to finish to raise funds for tree planting through the GRCA.

FIFTH ANNUAL 'GRAND RIVER ADVENTURE'
The 2016 Team Relay Edition - April 17th-23rd
For the past four years, Ayr/Cambridge residents Derek Lippert and JP Bartle have
paddled the entire length of the Grand River, from its humble beginnings in Dufferin
County to the waves of Lake Erie at Port Maitland. Through all weather and water
conditions possible, the pair have provided a 'source to mouth' insig

ht into the
river, aiming to increase awareness of watershed-wide environmental issues while
highlighting the Grand's tourism potential and social importance. NOW IT’S YOUR CHANCE TO JOIN THE ADVENTURE! We’re looking for teams of 6-8 people willing to dedicate a couple days each in a relay
paddle down the entire river. Visit us on Facebook for more information.

Autumn Reflections. Killarney Provincial Park. ON. I began my photographic journey with doing solo canoe trips into the Canadian Shield of Northern Ontario back in the early 90's. Autumn Reflections was captured using my 1970 Canon F1 35mm camera. I now use large format wooden cameras and shoot film till this day. I have yet to photograph nature using a digital camera or use digital post production for any of my fine art images. I work not with lasers or chips, but with film and light. http://ift.tt/2y5lkuq
