To everyone who made this weekend possible - thank you.

To the players - your dedication, hustle, and heart on the ice is what this is all about.
You earned every moment of this championship.

To the coaches and staff, the countless hours behind the scenes never go unnoticed.
Thank you for guiding these talented athletes to this stage.

To the Ardrossan Rec Complex, thank you for opening your doors and providing a world class setting for championship hockey.

To our Host Club, the Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club, and every one of your staff and volunteers… Your hospitality, professionalism, and passion for the game made this event something truly special. None of this could happen without you.

To our sponsors, your support is what allows these experiences to exist. We are incredibly grateful.

To our anthem singers, thank you for supporting the team and starting the games off perfectly for everyone. We appreciate how you set the tone for the games and put your heart into singing the anthems, it does not go unnoticed.

The parents, the grandparents, the siblings, and the families who packed the stands, some of you driving from across the province just to be in that building, you are the heartbeat of this tournament. WHAT. A. GAME.

The are your 2026 U15AAA Provincial Champions 🏆

The game remained close through and through, even down to the last second, where team captain Madden Daneault scored with a single second left on the clock to force OT.

The Golden Hawks would quickly bounce back thanks to their team captain Easton Mattersdorfer notching one just 2:57 into OT to secure the title.

BRONZE MEDAL WINNERS 🥉

The game was held at evens through the first 40 minutes, until Zack Ruptash broke the deadlock just 2 minutes into the third. Both teams would exchange two quick goals, before Knox Kehler would notch two insurance markers on the power play to secure the 3rd place finish!

Congratulations to both teams, coaches, staff, and families for showing up and playing their hearts out all tournament long!
