🌟 We’re So Proud of Our Own Emma Hilton! 🌟
Our very own Emma Hilton, Acton Fall Fair’s dedicated and passionate Fair Ambassador, represented us with pride at the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) Convention 2026!
Emma joined fellow Fair Ambassadors from across Ontario for an inspiring and educational experience focused on leadership, community engagement, and celebrating the rich agricultural traditions that make our fairs so special.
Alongside a team from the Acton Fall Fair, Emma connected with delegates from agricultural societies across the province to share ideas, build friendships, and learn new ways to continue putting our very best foot forward for our community.
The OAAS Convention is an incredible opportunity for ambassadors to grow as leaders, gain confidence, and strengthen their voices as advocates for agriculture and rural heritage. We know Emma represented Acton with professionalism, enthusiasm, and heart.
Please join us in congratulating Emma on this amazing experience — we are so proud to have her as part of the Acton Fall Fair family! 💛🌾

Giving back to those who give so much to our community!
A $500 cheque was proudly presented to the Acton Food Bank by board member Daelin Andrews, alongside John Miller (President) and Matt Andrews (First Vice President).
Gratefully accepted by Mike Albano — together we’re making a difference!

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved member Susan Kuechler.

Susan was a valued member of the Acton Agricultural Society for many decades. Her dedication, kindness, and generous spirit touched so many.

Beyond her countless contributions to the Society—including the many delicious meals and snacks she lovingly prepared—Susan will be remembered for her willingness to help others and her thoughtful care in ensuring everyone felt welcome and well fed.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Brian, Peter, and their families, as well as all loved ones during this difficult time.
Details regarding memorial services or ways to honour Susan’s memory will be shared as they become available.

Please join us in remembering Susan and keeping her family in your thoughts. 💐

Hello Acton Community,

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are starting the new year healthy and well.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. As a reminder, if anyone has questions or concerns regarding the Acton Agricultural Society, the Fall Fair, community events, or activities within the Dufferin Heritage Building, please reach out directly to Board Management at [email protected]. Your inquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate team member.

We are very happy to see so many passionate community members using the Dufferin Rural Heritage Community Centre, also commonly referred to as the Acton Indoor Soccer Field. On behalf of our team, we would like to confirm that the Dufferin Rural Heritage Community Centre (30 Park Ave) hosts an indoor drop-in walking program on:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This walking program is open to all ages.
• Children enter free
• Ages 16+ are $2 per entry
Because this program welcomes participants of all levels of athleticism and ranges of motion, we pride ourselves on being inclusive, collaborative, and truly creating a safe space for the community to come together.

Regarding the use of balls during the walking program: we would like to officially confirm that balls are prohibited on the field or in the air during this three-hour walking program time slot. Management is aware of the community’s interest in ball-related activities and is currently exploring alternative options that would help meet the needs of both our walking program participants and youth and adults interested in open field ball time.

Effective January 1, we kindly ask that all balls be kept off the field during designated walking program hours.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support of our community programs.
Warm regards,Acton Agricultural Society

In celebration of Giving Tuesday, a day of radical generosity, Acton Agriculture Society has designated all walk money raised during the month of December to be directly donated to Acton Food Share.

In partnership with the Acton Soccer League, non-perishable food items can also be dropped off at the Dufferin Heritage Community Centre during regular business hours.

Join us in making a meaningful difference this holiday season—every dollar and every can helps a neighbour. Together, Acton cares.
