Behind every milestone of the Crystal Gala Foundation, there are visionary leaders who turned passion into purpose. Today, we are celebrating the incredible impact of Dixie Jacobsen. 💕

Dixie wasn’t just a pillar of the BC horse racing community, she was a fierce champion for breast cancer care in the Fraser Valley. As a longtime organizing committee member, she poured her heart into the Crystal Gala Foundation, famously bridging her two worlds by naming a racehorse, “Crystal Gala”after the cause, and donating winnings from other race horses such as “Au Naturel”. 🐎💕
From the track to the Gala floor, Dixie’s dedication helped raise millions of dollars for life-saving screening technology and patient care facilities. Her legacy reminds us that when a community comes together, real change happens. Today Dixie enjoys boarding her retired race horses on her farm in Langley, and donating some incredible memorabilia for this year’s gala.

Thank you, Dixie, for racing toward a brighter, healthier future for us all. 💖

Online bingo at is more than just a 30-year community tradition, it helps fund local initiatives like ours. Together with , we were so pleased to accept this record-breaking $75,000 donation, raised through the bingo program!

These funds will benefit the continued support of breast health equipment projects like purchasing of a state of the art Cryoblation Unit.
