Em 2026, a edição do LCM foi marcada por uma programação diversa, com reuniões one-to-one, sessões de pitching, espaços de networking e palestras com importantes players do setor. O evento também contou com forte apoio institucional, com patrocínio da ApexBrasil, Sebrae Nacional, BNDES, Governo do Brasil e Prefeitura de São Paulo, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Economia Criativa e da Spcine.

In 2026, the LCM edition was marked by a diverse program, featuring one-to-one meetings, pitching sessions, networking opportunities, and talks with key industry players. PITCH PREMIADO (Winning Pitch) | História (History)

▪️ Sobre Memória e Esquecimento, de Ricardo Martensen, recebeu o prêmio de R$ 35 mil em serviços de pós produção oferecido pela MISTIKA, além do prêmio de composição de trilha sonora oferecido pelo Atelier Cultural (Instituto Cultural Chico Mário).

Sinopse: Em um cemitério de São Paulo projetado nos anos 1970 para ocultar corpos, acompanhamos o sepultamento de três pessoas não identificadas. Enquanto duas mulheres buscam os restos mortais de seus pais, uma mãe luta por justiça desde o assassinato do filho pela polícia, em 2006. Em meio a essas trajetórias pessoais, emerge o avanço do negacionismo histórico.

▪️ Regarding Memory and Neglect, by Ricardo Martensen, received a prize of R$ 35,000 in post-production services offered by MISTIKA, as well as a soundtrack composition award provided by Atelier Cultural (Instituto Cultural Chico Mário).

Synopsis:
In a cemetery in São Paulo, designed in the 1970s to conceal bodies, we follow the burial of three unidentified individuals. While two women search for the remains of their parents, a mother fights for justice after her son was killed by the police in 2006. Amid these personal stories, the rise of historical denialism becomes increasingly evident.

PITCH PREMIADO (Winning Pitch) | Investigações e True Crime (Investigations & True Crime)

▪️ Herança, de Ana Ar**ha, recebeu o prêmio de R$ 35 mil em serviços de conform e correção de cor oferecido pela The End | Post Production, além de consultoria para campanha de impacto oferecida pela Taturana - Cinema e impacto social. O projeto também recebeu um prêmio especial da Sunny Side of the Doc, que inclui duas credenciais para a edição de 2026 e uma inscrição gratuita no Meet and Match do Sunny Side.

Sinopse:
Após o assassinato de um defensor ambiental que denunciava os impactos dos agrotóxicos, sua família tenta se reerguer em uma comunidade cercada por fazendas pertencentes a alguns dos maiores produtores de frutas do mundo. O caso chama a atenção de uma cientista, que passa a investigar a relação entre o uso de agrotóxicos e a condição de Sophia e de outras sete crianças que apresentam sinais de puberdade precoce e malformações congênitas em uma comunidade de 2.000 habitantes.

▪️ Legacy, by Ana Ar**ha, received a prize of R$ 35,000 in conform and color grading services offered by The End | Post Production, as well as impact campaign consulting provided by Taturana - Cinema e impacto social. The project also received a special award from Sunny Side of the Doc, which includes two credentials for the 2026 edition and a free registration for the Sunny Side Meet and Match.

Synopsis:
After the murder of an environmental defender who exposed the impacts of pesticides, his family struggles to rebuild their lives in a community surrounded by farms owned by some of the world’s largest fruit producers. The case draws the attention of a scientist, who begins investigating the link between pesticide use and the condition of Sophia and seven other children showing signs of early puberty and congenital malformations in a town of 2,000 residents.

▪️ Mulheres dos Lobos, de Gunjan Menon, recebeu o prêmio de R$ 35 mil em serviços da INPUT | Post Production, além de R$ 35 mil em serviços de pós-produção, consultoria, finalização e quality control oferecidos pela FINISH.

Sinopse: No Cerrado brasileiro, a bióloga Maju Sternberg e a cineasta Bruna Lucheze se unem para revelar o universo oculto do ameaçado lobo-guará. Mulheres dos Lobos é um retrato de resistência da natureza, de uma espécie icônica e das mulheres que lutam por sua preservação.

Synopsis: In Brazil’s Cerrado, biologist Maju Sternberg and filmmaker Bruna Lucheze join forces to reveal the hidden world of the endangered maned wolf. Women of the Wolves is a portrait of resilience in nature, of an iconic species, and of the women fighting for its preservation.

Foram três dias de imersão, reunindo profissionais de mais de 20 países, com o objetivo de conectar produtoras independentes da América Latina, especialmente no segmento de não ficção, a grandes players globais do streaming e da TV. Mais do que um encontro, o LCM é uma plataforma de geração de negócios, impulsionando coproduções e ampliando a presença do conteúdo latino-americano no cenário internacional.

No último dia, foi realizada a premiação dos Pitch Sessions, com seleção de projetos e mentoria em parceria com o Sunnye of the Doc. Vem conferir as fotos!

It was a three-day immersive event that brought together professionals from more than 20 countries, with the goal of connecting independent production companies from Latin America, especially in the non-fiction sector, with major global players in streaming and television. More than just a gathering, LCM establishes itself as a business-driven platform, fostering co-productions and expanding the presence of Latin American content on the international stage.

On the final day, the Pitch Sessions awards ceremony took place, featuring project selection and mentorship in partnership with Sunny Side of the Doc.
