Het festival presenteert een divers artistiek programma met een speciale focus op de wereld van karikatuur en strips binnen een reeks tentoonstellingen, vergaderingen en workshops, omdat het een ruimte biedt voor convergentie tussen kunstenaars uit het Midden-Oosten en Noord-Afrika en hun internationale tegenhangers, Vrijheid van meningsuiting is de essentie van het festival en het punt van waarui

t ons verhaal begon, omdat deze satirische en doelgerichte kunst invloed kan hebben en veranderen op plaatsen waar andere middelen dat niet kunnen.




يقدم المهرجان برنامج فني متنوع وبتركيز خاص على عالم الكاريكاتير والكوميك ضمن سلسلة من المعارض واللقاءات وورشات العمل حيث يتيح مساحة للتلاقي بين فناني منطقة الشرق الاوسط وشمال افريقيا ونظرائهم من الفنانين العالميين، حرية التعبير هي جوهر المهرجان والنقطة التي بدأت منها قصتنا، حيث ان هذا الفن الساخر والهادف يستطيع التأثير والتغيير في اماكن تعجز فيها الوسائل الأخرى. The festival presents a diverse artistic program with a special focus on the world of caricature and comics within a series of exhibitions, meetings and workshops, as it provides a space for convergence between artists of the Middle East and North Africa and their international counterparts, Freedom of expression is the essence of the festival and the point from which our story began, as this satirical and purposeful art can influence and change in places where other means are unable.

سنفتقد حضورها الدافئ، وإيمانها العميق بالفن والثقافة والحوار الإنساني.

باسم مهرجان الكاريكاتير العربي، نتقدم بأحر التعازي إلى عائلتها وأصدقائها، ونودعها بكثير من الحزن والامتنان

Our noble friend and creative spirit, Marianne Straby, has left us.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of kindness, culture, and dedication to the arts.

The Arab Cartoon Festival extends its heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered.May her memory live on.
