They all have the ‘blues’ in common and if you want to hear and see a good portion of this kind of music that is at the roots of many other kinds of music then please put a big cross in your agenda . Coolhem' in Puurs you can attend the next edition of Duvelblues . Maybe you did not know but over the years Duvelblues managed to become a well known event amongst many of the top bluesartists and Duvelblues has build quiet a reputation that reaches far beyond our small country called Belgium. ‘Duvelblues’ became much appreciated on the International Bluescalendar, not because it's so big but in the first place because of it's atmosphere combined with a balanced, exclusive line-up of international bands & artists. Last year Duvelblues presented bands like Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, Charlie Musselwhite, 'The Tommy Castro Band' (USA), Teeny Tucker (USA), Eden Brent (USA) and in the years before that also bands like 'The Fabulous Thuderbirds' were on stage in Puurs ! From the beginning Gust Meeus has been the driving force behind this beautiful event. When he was 13 he was 'infected' by the Blues and once bitten he never could get rid of it. The whole blues-scene and it's history gets his attention. However, Duvelblues wants to attract also people who are not so familiar with the bluesmusic and hence the program always contains some surprizes for people to discover. The atmosphere at Duvelblues is free and relaxed, even familiar while, as stated, the shows contain each year pleasant surprizes. This is also why Duvelblues has grown in what it is today : Every year a magnifficent line-up and more and more people come to 'discover' this beautiful festival in Puurs. Parking space is no issue and there is the possibility to camp. Tickets can be purchased online via our website: www.duvelblues.be.

Het evenement 'Winter in Puurs-Sint-Amands' is opnieuw een groot succes. De winterbar met ijspiste aan het Fort van Liezele zal vermoedeijk afklokken op 70.000 bezoekers, net als vorig jaar. Dat zijn er iedere dag bijna 2500.
