New this year: 2 night trains to Brussels/Ghent, Antwerp and Leuven/Hasselt! 💺

How are you coming to Paradise City this summer? Train is the way to go. NMBS Event Train Tickets get you to Vilvoorde at -40% from any Belgian station and back between Friday and Monday, making it a perfect choice for our campers. Free electric shuttles run continuously from there to the festival grounds.

For those who return home on the same day: 2 night trains depart towards Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and Hasselt - but seats are limited, so book ahead.

Arriving by bike? Large, secure parking is available at the festival entrance. Coming by car? Use the Slinger carpool widget on our mobility page to share the ride.

The Barefoot Stage, our stage dedicated to soul, funk, hip hop, R&B and groove-driven music. At the entrance, you slip off your footwear and step inside onto soft ground. Beach sand, vintage rugs, flowing fabrics and natural light filtering through a transparent canopy. A space designed to slow things down, open things up, and let the music do what it does best.

Don’t expect the usual. Every artist on this stage has been invited to dig deeper: into the soulful, the funky, the warm and groovy corners of their record bags. Even the names you recognise will surprise you in here.

The Barefoot Stage is a place to breathe, connect and move: gently, freely and without a plan.

Solar energy plays a bigger role every year at Paradise City ☀️

Together with our long-term partner Eneco, we’re continuing to rethink how a festival is powered. Not just during the show, but from the very first day of build-up to the final breakdown.

A big shift happens behind the scenes. Our build-up now runs entirely on green energy. No diesel generators, but mobile batteries that power tools during the day and recharge overnight in our production zone. That production zone itself runs on 100% renewable electricity, sourced from a permanent grid connection and our on-site solar setup. This includes our floating solar field, which is already active weeks before the festival begins.

At the heart of the system is a smart energy network that connects solar power, batteries and grid energy. It automatically switches between sources, prioritising renewable energy and reducing grid pressure through peak shaving.

The impact is real. In 2025, 55.4% of our total energy use came from renewable sources. At the same time, we reduced our biofuel consumption by more than 40% compared to 2023, even as the festival grew with more stages and a larger campsite. We’ve also changed how we plan everything. Instead of working with static spreadsheets, we now use a digital platform that gives us real-time insights into energy demand and peak loads. That means we can optimise before the festival even starts, not just react on-site.

There’s still a long way to go. Generators haven’t disappeared completely. But step by step, the system gets cleaner, smarter and more reliable.

Paradise City is built together. Not just by our team, our artists or our guests, but also by the people looking out for others when it matters most. That’s why we’re looking for new Angels of Paradise: approachable, caring people who help create a safer and welcoming atmosphere across the festival grounds. From offering support to guiding visitors in the right direction, sometimes a small interaction can make a big difference.

All Angels wear their pink vests with pride, follow a training beforehand and go through a screening process before joining the team.

Not quite seeing yourself in pink? We’re also still looking for General Volunteers across different areas of the festival.

Raw, unpredictable, sometimes chaotic, but always intentional. Whether through their own releases, Moderat, or labels like Monkeytown Records, they’ve helped reshape what electronic music can be.

Bringing your own party tent will no longer be allowed, but…

We’ve always believed that building a festival comes with responsibility. Especially when it happens in a beautiful natural location like this. The camping has been one of our biggest challenges: too much waste, too many things used once and left behind.

So this year, together with KBC, we’re doing things differently. We will no longer allow campers to bring their own party tents. Instead, we will offer sturdy, reusable ones, free of charge, to anyone who applies. That’s a world first!

A win for the campers, a win for the ecological footprint.

If you bought a camping ticket, please check your email to see how you can reserve your free party tent. The link opens tomorrow at 12:00 CET. Since this is a test run, availability is limited, so we work on a first-come, first-served basis. If the project is a success, we’ll expand this program next year.
