Episode 005 comes from Atrium resident, Spain-based, Lebanese artist Albert Azar. An electronic music producer and DJ with an eye for minimal, house, and everything in between. Starting his musical journey as a bass player at 14 and producing from 16, he developed a sound rooted in groove, subtle percussion, atmosphere, and intricate electronic textures.
His evolving catalogue features releases on Sleep Is Commercial, SARAW, Fixed:composite, Hypnotic LTD and collaborations with IAGO and Clock Poets. His international performances have taken him across Spain, Germany, Belgium and Lebanon, sharing lineups with artists including Andrea Ferlin, Barbara Preisinger, Per Hammar, Enzo Leep, Magda, Dana Ruh, Janeret, Mihigh and Topper.
With this mix, Albert Azar digs deeper into the housier side of his record collection with a selection of driving dancefloor grooves.
