With these words, Nobel Peace Prize nominee Izzeldin Abuelaish closed the first day of ๐—–๐˜‚๐—น๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ & ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ: ๐—” ๐—๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป. It was more than a keynote โ€“ it was a call to action.

There is still work to do. Structural collaboration and sustainable funding remain crucial. But the commitment is there. The urgency is there. The momentum is there.

This conference was not an endpoint.
We continue โ€“ in Leuven, in Flanders, across Europe.
