But after a day of reflection we decided to cancel this Edition of Ardent Swing Festival 2020...

It was a tough decision and we waited until the end but unfortunately there are no conditions to continue…

Dear Ardent participants,

Due to the latest news about to the Coronavirus (Covid19) we send you this message to keep you informed of the actions taken by us (organizers).

We are fully aware of the problems that the infection has generated in other countries (Italy above all) and that Belgium is at the very beginning of the epidemic.

The Belgian government has still not made any decisions concerning the restrictions and / or prohibition of public events, this is why after all, we decided NOT to CANCEL THE EVENT !!!

Here are some security measures:�

- We invite each student to be aware to their own health and if you experience symptoms of flu, fever or cold (even a little) we invite you (with great sadness) to stay at home.
- we reserved a dance tent to be able to have more space for the course (not to be too tight between you)
- We will be very active in encouraging participants to wash their hands as often as possible
- All festival rooms will be made up of disposable wipes.
- All festival rooms will be composed of hydroalcoholic solutions
- We will avoid all the famous French "kisses"

We are very happy to welcome you this weekend at the ARDENT SWING FESTIVAL.

The idea is to have fun with safety.

Dear all,

for the time being the festival is still on!

There are no bans or limitations being introduced by the government for this kind of events so far.

Belgian authorities are organizing meetings and assessing the situation constantly, therefore new measures might be introduced in the following days.

We monitor the situation closely and will keep you posted.
