IKARI

We celebrate Glenn's 35th birthday on this special evening.
Ghent-based artist and sound designer, active in the psy/conscious bass scene. 15 years experience as a DJ, 8 years international where he was a resident DJ at Starbeach Hersonissos in Crete.

Backed by industry professionals like Synthesis.audio, DataMind Audio, TIMEWHEEL, Encanti and many more.

This year also marks his USA breakthrough: his first American collaborations with Mystic Grizzly, Spaceship Earth and many more, bridging continents and traditions.

And finally the start of Lucid Bass, the project behind IKARI, is built around quantum physics and altered states of consciousness. Born as a critique of commercialization within the conscious/psy bass scene, a search for sound that means something again, in resonance and connection.

**Regeneration - 16.10** + 2026 logo reveal

Op 16 oktober vieren we Ikari's 35ste verjaardag én de heropbouw van Shūhasū. Na de helse coronajaren en amper twee kleine events tussen 24 en 26, kruipen we eindelijk uit die financiële put. In samenwerking met imakari projects & Sub Culture (Radio Panik) is dit het eerste event waarmee we die opbouw echt terug oppakken.

Deze avond markeert ook de lancering van het Lucid Bass framework en stijl, met nieuwe muziek en een scherpere visie op waar het project voor staat.
Onder leiding van Ikari, Voicheck, Hentopan en Pete & Pan.

We gaan een dikke sound plaatsen en als er wat budget is kijken voor wat mooie deco of visuele projectie.

Dit is het moment waarop het echt telt. Als je ooit van plan was erbij te zijn, is dit de avond. We hebben iedereen nodig om dit terug op te bouwen. Kom samen bouwen, jouw aanwezigheid is de support die telt!

REGENERATION

16/10/2026 - Gent

Na alles wat er de voorbije jaren gebeurd is, voelt dit als het juiste woord. Regeneration gaat over opnieuw opbouwen, terugkeren naar de bron en samen weer die energie vinden die Shūhasū altijd gedreven heeft. De waterval en het mandala (trouwens ons nieuwe logo) op de poster staan symbool voor die cyclus.
Shūhasū Collective brengt jullie weer samen voor een psychedelische en experimentele trip van bass music, dubstep, dub en world/ethnic fusion.
Verder kan je u verwachten aan een dikke lightshow en soundsystem, en zijn we aan het zien voor mooie deco en visual mapping.
