10 acts on the bill, 16 dancers in the building, every one of them bringing something they’ve been working on for months. Bharatanatyam to Rajasthani Bollywood. Solo to six-person group. Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Seychelles — all on the floor in Gent for one night.

Three musicians. One sound. Shivam on vocals and guitar, Ramit on drums and multi-percussion, Abhijit on bass — weaving folk-inspired melodies from Eastern India with echoes of Natraja and Ardhanarishwar. Original compositions, soulful Bollywood reinterpretations, and a simple belief: music is liberation.

Touring the world for 2.5+ years. Landing in Ghent for one night only.

We are beyond hyped to welcome the incredible DesiHop collective to GIDF 2026! Founded by Gokul Gopi, Saumya Singh, and Rayeez Mohammed, this trio is bringing their powerful blend of Bollywood, hip-hop, Afro, and the raw energy of Tamil kuthu straight to Ghent.
