Le rendez-vous musical de fin d'été 🌴☀️

Forest Sounds est un nouveau festival qui s'est déroulé dans le cadre verdoyant et enchanteur du Parc de Forest pour ses 4 premières éditions, le dernier samedi d’Août ou le premier samedi de septembre selon les années. En 2021, le festival s'exporte dans le cadre verdoyant de l'Abbaye de Forest, à deux pas de la place Saint Denis. Festival Gratuit dédié aux nouvelles expressions de la musique du monde, dans ses nuances les plus contemporaines, Forest Sounds offre le temps d'une journée une programmation musicale, des performances, cirques, installation, bar brasserie, espace bonne bouffe. Ouvert à tous, respectueux de l’environnement, festif, familial, et enfin au cœur d’un magnifique parc bruxellois. Une initiative de:

We're slowly recovering from this magical weekend. ❤️

You were there. Despite the rain, the clouds, and all the uncertainty around the weather. You showed up, danced, smiled, sang and stayed. What a faithful crowd we have! You are, without a doubt, our proudest accomplishment. So, from the bottom of our hearts: 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨, to all our 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹-𝗴𝗼𝗲𝗿𝘀 for your energy, your good vibes, your patience and for making this place feel so alive.

A very special and enormous 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀. Once again, you were everywhere, on every front, making things happen with a smile. This festival simply wouldn't be the same without you. ❤️

J-7 💫🔥 On est excités comme des puces : on a hâte de faire la fête avec vous ! Et qui dit fête, dit aussi LA programmation qui fait le petit plus du Forest Sounds. Cette année encore, de nombreux artistes se baladeront dans le festival pour offrir fêtes, musiques fanfarolesques (disons que ce mot existe), danses, rires, et émerveillement ! Tout au long de la journée/soirée, retrouvez les pour un max de joie ! 🫰☀️

⭐ est une compagnie de cirque contemporaine qui mêle acrobatie, mouvement, humour et performance. Entre corps, objets et métamorphoses, la compagnie développe des univers visuels décalés et engagés, à la frontière du cirque, de la rue et de la performance.

Brolenbeek Brolenbeek est un collectif bruxellois qui transforme objets récupérés et déchets en espaces de création, de jeu et de rencontre. Ateliers, parades, performances audiovisuelles et créations collectives composent un univers joyeux et participatif, où le réemploi devient matière à imaginer et à faire ensemble.

DROM Brico Tronic construit en direct un paysage sonore palpitant où se mêlent percussions, objets déformés et électronique brute. Il n’en résulte pas un set classique, mais un voyage rituel riche en polyrythmes, en larsens et en énergie brute. Attendez-vous à une piste de danse qui vibre, au DIY dans sa forme la plus pure et à un son à la fois primitif et futuriste.

Merak Freestyle propose une rencontre explosive entre fanfare balkanique et danse hip-hop. Dans un format participatif et festif, musiciens et danseurs font dialoguer rythmes balkaniques, énergie de rue et improvisation pour embarquer le public dans la fête.

🦜 A quick explanation about your ticket price this year!

Forest Sounds is becoming a festival with a minimum price. The music, the atmosphere, the Abbey… nothing changes! What does change is the context. Cultural funding is decreasing, while costs are rising. So we’ve found a solution that reflects who we are.

A fair and accessible pricing system :) There is a base price to keep the festival running, but you can also choose to pay more if you’d like to support us further.

We believe that everyone deserves access to culture. Your ticket is much more than just a pass. It helps pay the artists and ensures that your festival can continue to exist.

Music, art, and a great reason to go out this summer.

🦜 Een korte uitleg over de prijs van je ticket dit jaar!

Forest Sounds wordt een festival met een minimumprijs. De muziek, de sfeer, de Abdij… niets verandert! Wat wél verandert, is de context. De subsidies voor cultuur nemen af, terwijl de kosten stijgen. Daarom hebben we een oplossing gevonden die bij ons past.

Een solidaire en toegankelijke prijs :) Er is een basistarief om het festival draaiende te houden, maar je kan ook meer betalen als je ons extra wil steunen.

Wij vinden dat iedereen recht heeft op cultuur. Je ticket is veel meer dan zomaar een toegangsbewijs. Het helpt om artiesten te betalen en zorgt ervoor dat jouw festival kan blijven bestaan.

Muziek, kunst en een mooie reden om deze zomer buiten te komen.
