UPCOMING - FOOTBALL x FASHION EXPO ⚽️

> On October 5, the Football x Fashion project by artist, choreographer and ex-footballer Ahilan Ratnamohan was presented to the public at Brigittine Park!

This choreographed fashion show featured 100% upcycled silhouettes created by designers from all walks of life and worn by Brussels soccer players. The models moved to the rhythm of Dj Cheb Runner’s beats, against a set designed by ENSAV La Cambre scenography students.

For an hour, the show crystallized the fusion of two worlds beloved by Brussels residents: soccer and fashion.

The exhibition of the same name invites you to immerse yourself (again) in this long-running multidisciplinary and participatory project. See some silhouettes from the show, listen to the voices of the participants and relive the highlights of this made-in-Brussels project!

Ahilan Ratnamohan is artist in residence at Kaaitheater.

It’s time to rest… 🥱

That’s what Shady System, Ema Tytgat, Camille Thiry, and Habitat et Rénovation offered to the residents of Rue des Visitandines. 🌇

At the foot of the housing complex, GARAGE FRISKO opened its doors to the public to showcase the various installations created and designed in collaboration with the residents. 👥

Under the sun, an ice cream added a touch of joy to our hearts… 🍦

Swing and Dream lives up to its name! 💤

Swing, to invoke our inner child as we sway on the swings.

Dream, because nothing is more dreamlike than a hut made of dyes.

This installation, conceived by the AuQuai collective, invited passersby to contribute to the structure.

We saw life through rose-colored glasses... 💕

This parade made the heart of the Marolles beat even stronger! 💕

Orchestrated by MetX, the parade participants attended Gnawa workshops to prepare for this unique moment! 🎉

Musicians from all backgrounds came together for this musical symbiosis. 🎼

Even the images seem to emanate music, don’t you think?

Rope wandered throughout the neighborhood before settling at the Place du Jeu de B***e. 🧱

Coiled into a cylinder, it appears closed off… But that’s not the case. It’s simply waiting for passersby to gather their courage and shape it into something new. 🎉

And you—have you crossed its path yet? 💙

« A travers les Marolles » is the first exhibition by Alexia Rincé.

As a photographer and urban planner, she connected with the residents and workers of the Marolles to capture its unique energy. 🧱

Whether at the Place du Jeu de B***e or the Mont-de-Piété, Alexia observed how objects of all kinds contribute to this area’s identity. For this exhibition, she has blended her photos with objects entrusted to her by the community. 📷

Stay tuned—soon, a story inspired by this journey will be released! 🔜👀
