Et si on entrait ensemble dans 2026 ? ✨

Le 31 décembre 2025, rendez-vous sous l’Atomium pour célébrer le passage à la nouvelle année comme Bruxelles sait le faire : ensemble, en plein air, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et lumineuse.

Dès 21h, la musique s’installe avec un DJ set qui accompagne la soirée jusqu’au compte à rebours final.

À minuit, place à l’émotion : le ciel s’illumine lors d’un grand feu d’artifice, symbole de partage, d’espoir et de nouveaux départs.

✨ What a night to open Winter Wonders 2025!

Brussels wrapped itself in light yesterday, and we all gathered on the Grand-Place to officially welcome the season.

The evening began with a shimmering laser show and video mapping dancing across the facades.

For the very first time, everyone discovered our illuminated Christmas tree, dressed under the artistic eye of , as well as the brand-new nativity scene, a poetic creation by Victoria Maria
Seeing so many of you together on the square, bundled up, smiling, looking up, is the coziest and best tradition coming back to life.

🎶 A choir, , warmed up both the renewed place de la Monnaie and the Grand-Place with soft festive tunes, wrapping the whole city in a glow you could almost feel on your scarf.

Meanwhile, thousands of visitors wandered through the Christmas Market, glided over the ice rink, took in the view from the Ferris wheel, had their first gluhwein…

Winter settled into Brussels yesterday, softly, joyfully. Here’s to five magical weeks ahead. ❄️💫

Une nouvelle crèche arrive sur la Grand-Place pour Plaisirs d’Hiver 2025. 👼🌟🐑

Cette année, nous présentons « Les Étoffes de la Nativité ».

Une création poétique et éthérée de la designer bruxelloise Victoria-Maria.

Sous une structure légère et transparente, inspirée des Serres Royales, la crèche devient un cocon lumineux au cœur de l’hiver.

À l’intérieur, vous découvrirez des personnages grandeur nature en tissu, réalisés en lin, satin et velours, tous issus de chutes ou de matériaux recyclés. Une scène simple et artisanale qui met en valeur le savoir-faire et la créativité belges.

La connexion artistique de ce projet a été rendue possible grâce à MAD Brussels, dont la mission de soutenir et relier les créatifs bruxellois a joué un rôle essentiel dans la concrétisation de cette collaboration. 💎

Créée en collaboration avec Span Tech et L'Atelier by Souveraine, cette installation est légère, durable et imaginée avec soin pour que chacun puisse en profiter en flânant sur la place la plus emblématique de la ville. ✨

Een nieuwe kerststal komt naar de Grote Markt voor Winterpret 2025. 👼🌟🐑

Dit jaar stellen we “Les étoffes de la Nativité” (de Stoffen van de geboorte van Jezus) voor.

Een poëtische en etherisch creatie van de Brusselse ontwerpster Victoria-Maria.

Onder een lichte en doorzichtige structuur, geïnspireerd op de Koninklijke Serres, wordt de kerststal een warm en zacht oplichtend plekje in het hart van de winter.

Binnenin vind je levensgrote figuren uit stof, gemaakt van linnen, satijn en fluweel, allemaal afkomstig uit restmaterialen of gerecycleerde stoffen. Een eenvoudige en ambachtelijke scène die Belgisch vakmanschap en creativiteit in de kijker zet.

De artistieke verbinding voor dit project werd mogelijk gemaakt dankzij MAD Brussels, waarvan de missie om Brusselse creatievelingen te ondersteunen en te verbinden een sleutelrol speelde in het tot stand komen van deze samenwerking. 💎

Deze installatie, gemaakt in samenwerking met Span Tech en L'Atelier by Souveraine, is licht, duurzaam en met zorg ontworpen zodat je ervan kan genieten terwijl je door het meest iconische plein van de stad wandelt. ✨

A new nativity scene is coming to the Grand-Place for Winter Wonders 2025. 👼🌟🐑

This year, we’re introducing “Les Étoffes de la Nativité” (The Fabrics of the Nativity).

A poetic and ethereal creation by Brussels designer Victoria-Maria .

Under a light and see-through structure, inspired by the Royal Greenhouses, the nativity scene becomes a cosy spot glowing softly in the heart of winter.

Inside, you’ll find life-size fabric figures made with linen, satin and velvet, all from leftover or recycled materials. A simple and handmade scene that highlights Belgian craft and creativity.

The artistic connection for this project was made possible through MAD Brussels, whose mission to support and connect Brussels creatives played a key role in bringing this collaboration to life. 💎

Created together with Span Tech and L'Atelier by Souveraine, this installation is light, durable and designed with care so everyone can enjoy it while wandering through the city’s most iconic square. ✨
