🍻 B**r lovers, this weekend is stacked.

Saturday 17 October is extra special: it’s the International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, and Belgian b**r culture is officially part of what’s being celebrated (it’s been on UNESCO’s list since 2016, so consider this our annual victory lap).
Here’s where to be:

🍺 Kelderdagen @ Brouwerij Boon — Fri 16 to Sun 18. The cellar opens and older Oude Geuze & Oude Kriek bottles, plus rarities, go on sale.
🍺 Oud B**rsel Kelderdagen & Vintage Tasting — Fri 16 to Sun 18. One of the only times a year you can take vintage lambic home instead of drinking it on site at the Bierhuis.
🌿 Fresh Hop Festival — Sat 17. A full room of Dutch fresh-hop b**rs, brewed with hops picked just weeks ago.
🍻 Bottles & Barrels — Sat 17, Brouwerij Sweynb**r, Elewijt. New venue, same mission: craft b**r, w**e and rum under one roof.
🍋 Curieuzegeuze @ Jaarmarkt Ternat — Sat 17. The geuze and lambic caravan parks right at the fair, part of Lambic Month.
🎉 De Hasseltse Jeneverfeesten — Sat 17 to Sun 18, Hasselt. Two days of jenever, music, parades and a fountain that actually sprays the stuff.
🍺 Brassigaume, 25th edition — Sat 17 to Sun 18, Marbehan. About 23 breweries, nine of them international.

What a week. Thank you for participating in Belgium B**r Week and prepare for Belgium B**r Week 2027 from 23 to 29 August 2027.
When we launched Belgium B**r Week seven years ago, we had a simple idea: bring together the bars, breweries, b**r cafés and guides who love Belgian b**r culture and give them a week to celebrate it together.
This year, almost 200 venues across 15 countries raised a glass to Belgian b**r culture — from Brussels to Berlin, from São Paulo to Sheffield, from Warsaw to Hong Kong. Seven editions in, and B*W26 was the biggest, boldest and most international edition we have ever run. We are genuinely humbled by that.
None of it happens without you. To every venue that signed up, planned an event, poured a Belgian b**r and opened their doors to their community this week — thank you. You are what Belgium B**r Week is. To our incredible network of B*W Ambassadors — your personal outreach, your passion and your belief in this celebration makes it possible to grow the way it has. We are grateful for every message sent, every contact made and every venue brought into the fold.
We hope you all had a wonderful week, that your events were full, your taps were flowing and your customers left a little more in love with Belgian b**r than when they walked in.
Now — get ready for Belgium B**r Week 2027 from 23 to 29 August 2027.
We're already thinking about what the 8th edition can be, and we'd love for you to be part of shaping it. Whether you have ideas for events, new venues you'd like to bring in, or thoughts on how we can make B*W even bigger and better — we want to hear from you. The earlier we plan together, the stronger the week becomes for everyone.
