Congratulations to “Réunion de Famille” by Jean Forest, winner of the Mriya International Film Festival Audience Award.

Chosen by our audience among the competition programmes, the film deeply resonated with viewers through its delicate and intimate exploration of memory, family archives, and absence. Using Super 8 footage, personal testimonies, and fragments of family history, the film becomes both a personal journey and a reflection on how cinema can revive forgotten lives and reconnect fragmented memories.

We sincerely thank all filmmakers, participants, guests, and viewers who became part of this edition of the festival. Through your presence, conversations, and emotional responses, these films continue to live far beyond the screen. 💜

2025 has been a truly special year for Mriya ✨

This year we hosted a wonderful festival filled with cinema, conversations, and meaningful moments.
We screened 49 films, carefully selecting stories that move, challenge, and stay with you long after the credits roll.

We also hosted 6 film clubs this year - a space for watching films together, discussing ideas, sharing perspectives, and connecting through cinema. And this is just the beginning: even more film clubs are coming next year.

Across our events, we welcomed more than 200 people. Thank you to everyone who came, watched, shared, and supported us.
Together, we also raised 1,300 € to support Ukraine, something we are deeply proud of 💙💛

Thank you to everyone who was part of Mriya in 2025 - our audience, volunteers, team and partners.

Happy New Year! May 2026 bring even more powerful films, bold ideas, and inspiring encounters.

We’re also looking for new people to join our team, if you feel connected to what we do, send us a DM 💌
