Dear Diamond Draft 2023 registrant,
We thank you for your registration and ambition to show your skills at an international tournament during the coming summer.
This week we had unfortunately to take a difficult decision… although we had players registered of 12 different nationalities from all over Europe, with just over 65 players registered for both age categories we could not guaranty the quality and level of play we envisioned for the Diamond Draft Series… and therefor decided to postpone the first edition to next year.
As one missed swing doesn’t mean a strike out… we will be back next year to make it a real hit. We have the field, we have the people to make it a great tournament… we have a strong believe… the players will come too.
From our side we have expanded our network in the past months, thanks to this tournament, widely so we will have more visibility next year and therefor able to attract more players.
In addition to this, we would appreciate if you would promote our tournament too to encourage your baseball buddies to register for the 2024 edition.
For the players that registered for the 2023 edition and would surpass the U16 age category, don’t worry, we will make it possible for you to still register.
Keep an eye on us in coming august when we will be launching the 2024 Diamond Draft Series.

Beste Diamond Draft 2023 inschrijver,
Wij danken jou voor je inschrijving en je ambitie om je vaardigheden te tonen op een internationaal toernooi tijdens de komende zomer.
Deze week moesten we helaas een moeilijke beslissing nemen... hoewel we spelers hadden ingeschreven van 12 verschillende nationaliteiten uit heel Europa, konden we met iets meer dan 65 ingeschreven spelers voor beide leeftijdscategorieën niet de kwaliteit en het spelniveau garanderen dat we voor ogen hadden voor de Diamond Draft Series... en daarom hebben we moeten beslissen om de eerste editie uit te stellen tot volgend jaar.
Omdat één gemiste strike geen strike out betekent... komen we volgend jaar terug om er een echte hit van te maken. We hebben het veld, we hebben de mensen om er een geweldig toernooi van te maken... we zijn ervan overtuigd... dat de spelers ook zullen komen.
Van onze kant hebben we de afgelopen maanden ons netwerk uitgebreid, dankzij dit toernooi, zodat we volgend jaar meer zichtbaarheid hebben en daardoor meer spelers kunnen aantrekken.
Daarnaast zouden we het op prijs stellen als u ons toernooi ook zou willen promoten om uw baseballvrienden aan te moedigen zich in te schrijven voor de editie 2024.
Voor de spelers die zich hebben ingeschreven voor de 2023 editie en de U16 leeftijdscategorie zouden overschrijden, maak je geen zorgen, we zullen het mogelijk maken om je alsnog in te schrijven.
Hou ons in de gaten in augustus, wanneer we de 2024 Diamond Draft Series lanceren.

Nous vous remercions de votre inscription et de votre ambition de montrer vos talents lors d'un tournoi international au cours de l'été prochain.
Cette semaine, nous avons malheureusement dû prendre une décision difficile... bien que nous ayons enregistré des joueurs de 12 nationalités différentes venant de toute l'Europe, avec un peu plus de 65 joueurs inscrits dans les deux catégories d'âge, nous ne pouvions pas garantir la qualité et le niveau de jeu que nous envisagions pour les Diamond Draft Series... et nous avons donc décidé de reporter la première édition à l'année prochaine.
Comme un swing manqué ne signifie pas un strike out... nous reviendrons l'année prochaine pour faire un vrai hit. Nous avons le terrain, nous avons les gens pour en faire un grand tournoi... nous sommes convaincus que les joueurs viendront aussi.
De notre côté, nous avons étendu notre réseau au cours des derniers mois, grâce à ce tournoi, ce qui nous permettra d'être plus visibles l'année prochaine et donc d'attirer plus de joueurs.
En plus de cela, nous apprécierions que vous fassiez la promotion de notre tournoi afin d'encourager vos amis baseballeurs à s'inscrire pour l'édition 2024.
Pour les joueurs qui se sont inscrits à l'édition 2023 et qui dépasseraient la catégorie d'âge U16, ne vous inquiétez pas, nous ferons en sorte que vous puissiez toujours vous inscrire.
Gardez un œil sur nous au mois d'août prochain, lorsque nous lancerons l'édition 2024 de la Diamond Draft Series.
