From a Halloween-style crew meeting 👻 to an inspiring sit-down with our sponsor from Hike-A-Way and VAUDE Belgium, things are taking shape! We’ve been brainstorming on the best gear to select this year. Always great to collaborate with like-minded outdoor lovers. 🌿

A quick note about the waiting list:
We’ve decided to close the waiting list for now, as it’s difficult to predict when (or if) places might become available.

Depending on cancellations, we might reopen the waiting list around one month before the event. So keep an eye on our updates, or send us a PM, if you’re still hoping to join us!

Curious about where Grelly ’27 will take you? ✨

We received some questions about the route, so here’s a sneak peek at what’s waiting out on Grelly 27!

From rolling out of Herbeumont, the route weaves deep into forests, wide-open gravel sectors, and scenic passages stretching south through the heart of Lorraine toward Metz, Nancy, Toul, and back via Verdun. Whether you’re lining up for the 3-or 4-day challenge, each distance is crafted to deliver adventure, scenic views, and plenty of punchy climbing. 🌲

⚠️ heads-up on distances: While the mapped loops give you a solid view of the direction we are heading to, our on-the-ground track scouting and fine-tuning are still ongoing. Final routes and exact kilometer totals may shift slightly between now and the event.

We are already counting down the days to welcome you to Herbeumont. If you haven’t secured your spot in the pack yet, this is your sign! 💥

Before you pack your bags 📣
🏕️ Accommodation: Hotel and campsite options along the route are more limited than in previous editions. Please plan accordingly! We recommend bringing your own sleeping gear or bivy setup!
🔥 Go Ultra: We are designing a massive ~850 km track for the ultra-cycling fanatics among you!

Two Formats:
4-Day challenge (20–23 May 2027)
🚴‍♂️ 5 distances ranging from 360 to 850 km
⛰️ 5,000 to ~13,500 M+ elevation

3-Day challenge (21–23 May 2027)
🚴‍♂️ 4 distances ranging from 360 to 680 km
⛰️ 5,000 to ~10,500 M+ elevation

A little throwback to our Grelly ’27 summer recons. We’ve been out there, hunting down the good stuff: quiet roads, punchy climbs, gravel gems and plenty of “this one has to be in Grelly” moments. 👀

When you can’t ride the Grelly but instead capture the ultracylcing vibe on camera. 🔥

crushed Grelly ‘25 on the bike, but couldn’t line up for the ‘26 edition. After catching up, we agreed he’d join the crew this year for one day as a photographer. Even though he is just taking his first steps into sports event shooting, we totally believed in this try out - and he delivered.

He swapped the saddle for the lens, tapping into his other passion, and completely dove into the assignment. ✨

He captured the raw, unfiltered energy of Grelly ‘26 through his own eyes, and the results speak for themselves. Drop some notes in the comments for Wouter! 😎
