Big congratulations to our very own Nabila Sultana on becoming the new General Secretary of JUBC 🏀✨

It is always encouraging to see young leaders take initiative in strengthening and developing basketball culture within universities. With Jahangirnagar University’s long standing basketball legacy and successful history, we are excited to see Nabila contribute towards creating better opportunities, stronger organization, and continued growth for future athletes.

We wish her all the best in this new leadership role and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will create for the basketball community both on and off the court.

From the Deshi Ballers court to the world stage 🌍🏀⚽

We are incredibly proud to share that our very own Tazrin Titir Joyita has been selected as a volunteer for the FIFA World Cup in New York & New Jersey!

Out of nearly 1 million applicants, only around 15,000 volunteers were selected and seeing a Bangladeshi woman athlete from our community become part of such a historic global event is truly inspiring. 💛

From basketball courts to international sports spaces, Joyita continues to represent not only herself, but also the growing presence of Bangladeshi women in global sports communities. Being assigned as a Host City Ambassador – Last Mile Volunteer, including working during the Final at MetLife Stadium, is an incredible achievement.

Your journey reminds young girls that sports can open doors far beyond the game itself. We are so happy to see one of our own reaching new heights and representing our community with pride.

Congratulations, Joyita! Keep shining and keep inspiring. 🌟

One of those days that just felt special on the court 🏀

Our U18 team played a friendly match against our own Senior team and honestly, it was more than just a game. Seeing mentors and coaches on one side, and their students on the other, made it really exciting and meaningful.

What made it even better was having all the parents there, cheering for their daughters. That kind of support truly shows in how confidently the girls play. 💛

The U18 team stepped up with so much courage. They didn’t get the win this time, but they walked away with something more important experience, learning, and a better understanding of the game.

These are the moments that prepare them for bigger stages ahead, especially with the international tournament coming up.

This is what growth looks like. 💪🏀

We had an amazing time playing a friendly match with The Growing Up Club full of energy, excitement, and true sportsmanship from start to finish. It was more than just a game; it was about community, connection, and building friendships on and off the court. 💛

A big thank you to Growing Up Club for arranging the trophies and bringing the music that made the day even more special! 🎶🏆

Final score: 25–24, with Deshi Ballers taking the win but honestly, the real win was the experience we shared together.

Last week, our U18 team played a friendly match with the Stallions and it turned out to be a really exciting game! 🏀

Even in the intense heat, both teams showed great effort and spirit, keeping it close till the very last moment. With a final score of 30–29, the Stallions secured the win, but it was a game full of energy, learning, and mutual respect.

We’re always grateful for opportunities like this where we can grow, compete, and build stronger connections within the basketball community.
