Bangladesh Shines at IEO 2026 with Global Championship, Bronze Medal, and International Recognition

Bangladesh has achieved remarkable success at the 9th International Economics Olympiad (IEO) 2026 in Shenzhen, China, competing alongside 57 countries.

🥉 Farabeed Bin Faisal won a Bronze Medal.

🏆 Jaif Bin Morshed made history by becoming the Global Champion, securing 1st Place in the inaugural IEO Youth Talk.

🌟 Adding to this historic achievement, the Bangladesh Economics Olympiad (BDEO) received a Special International Recognition Award for its outstanding contribution to economics education and international excellence.

The Bangladesh delegation was led by Md. Al-Amin Parvez, Executive Board Member of the International Economics Olympiad and President of BDEO, with Rafid Abrar serving as Deputy Team Leader. Bangladesh also strengthened its global leadership as Md. Al-Amin Parvez and Md. Mansorul Haque served on the International Jury Board for the Business Case Competition.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our students, mentors, supporters, and partners, and marks another proud milestone for Bangladesh on the global stage.
