Loko Natyadal (LND), one of the leading theater group of Bangladesh, which is the National Center of International Amateur Theater Association (aita/iata) and associate member groups of Peoples Theater Association. On it’s thirty four years way from the out set, adhering to the commitment to stage dramas having world classic, modern, folk as well as very essence of life of common people, it produced 57 plays of varied kinds. With all these productions Loko Natyadal played over 1500 nights. The most popular production 'Kanjush (The Miser)' of Moliere of this group is the one and only in Bangladesh to have crossed the 600 nights. Versatility in the productions and experimentation is the main characteristics of LND. This is the only group which established Bengali theatre in the international arena participating in the different festivals in USA, Canada, Germany, Japan, Hongkong, Turkey, Monaco, UK, South Korea and different parts of India. Every year Loko Natyadal awards the honest and dedicated theater workers of the country for their contribution for the theater movement. The group observe the World Theater Day every year with due grandeur. It arranged a Moliere Comedy Festival with all the plays of Moliere produced in Bangladesh. Every year Loko Natyadal arrange different type of theater festivals, invite groups of other countries for theatrical exchange, organize workshops etc. Outstanding productions of the group are ‘A mid Summer Night’s Dream’, ‘Rathayatra’, ‘Exception and the Rule’, ‘Kanjoosh’, ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’, ‘Helen’, ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’, ‘Sonai Madhav’, ‘Toposhshi O Torongini’, ‘Madhumala’, ‘Siddhidata’, ‘Majhrater Manushera’ etc.
