YTF Supporters - I am sorry to announce that Fitzroy Frogs have decided to cease the running of the Yeppoon Triathlon Festival, effective immediately.
I wont go into details, suffice to say that we have put a lot of time and effort into the event over the past three years and been unable to secure it's long-term viability.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful sponsors, without whose support we would not have made it as far as we did: Livingstone Shire Council, Movement Improvement Rockhampton, Shanahan Swaffield Partners, Regal Dental, BIKES on HIGH.
Thanks also to the past 3 years of volunteers who sacrificed many hours to contribute to the community, your efforts were not in vain and it could not hav happened without you.
And finally, to the champions. Those that participated in YTF. Thank you for being part of our event. We trust you enjoyed our little piece of paradise and will remember fondly what I maintain "was" Qld's most challenging (character building) Olympic Tri. Hopefully we will see you again soon at some of our less challenging but also enjoyable local events.
