This was the view at tonight's Yass Runners and Walkers Club run! If you missed it, you've got a second chance this week!

8.00am this Saturday is the first Saturday run/walk for the club and we are hoping people who find Monday nights tricky will like this new time!

Plus even though the heat of summer is hopefully gone, it's very nice to be out in the morning!

The Yass Runners Committee regret to advise that for this year we have not been able to secure an event manager to be able to host Run y'Ass Off for 2016.

We are intending over the next couple of months to have an informal and purely social run of the 14km / 21km course and will update you via this page.

We are intending to host another Running Festival in 2017 – bigger and better. If you would like to assist us with organising this event, our next meeting is Thursday the 8th of September at the Yass Soldiers Club at 7:30 pm.

We may have been a bit premature calling this years event off. We are still a chance of running in early November!

A group of Yass locals are meeting at the Yass Soldiers Club at 7:30 tomorrow (Thurs) night.

If you would like to help get the event back on track for this year and / or help shape it for the future, we would love to see you there!

Yass Runners is sorry to announce it will not be conducting a Running Festival in 2016. We acknowledge and thank our event supporters, promoters and participants from previous years and are endeavouring to host an event in 2017.

Please contact us if you'd like to help with the organising or sponsoring of an event next year.

Not your average first date! We love being a part of people meeting in active, healthy and fun environments. Congratulations to Sebastian and Kylie, their first date at the 1st Yass Valley Running Festival and then their engagement at the 3rd annual event. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and many more running events together!

This was us 2 years ago on the first Yass Valley Run Your Yass Off in 2013. It was also our first date.
2 years on in 2015 we ran the 14 km event. After the run, I had gotten down on one knee and proposed to my gorgeous Kylie and she accepted. This event will always be close to our hearts. Thank you to the organisers of this event to have brought 2 people together for the rest of their lives
