Join us for a special Open Day at historic Cooma Cottage, the home of the great Australian explorer Hamilton Hume, hosted as part of the Australian Heritage Festival celebrations.

Guided house tours will share stories of the people who lived and worked at Cooma Cottage and the changes that this special place has seen over the years.

Be enthralled by the romance and the splendour of historic dance, brought to life by the talented Historic Dance Delights group.

Enjoy a relaxing Devonshire Tea in the property surrounds.

Cooma Cottage is open this Australia Day weekend!

Sunday 25th, 10am to 4pm &
Australia Day, Monday 26th January, from 10am to 2pm.

Come and enjoy this rare surviving rural Property, the former home of the Australian born Explorer Hamilton Hume.

Join a house tour, and enjoy the rural landscape. There’s plenty of room for a BYO picnic in the shade of a tree.

Who loves a vintage car rally?

We do! We welcomed the Valiant Car Rally here recently and enjoyed seeing the vintage cars driving in and flanking historic Cooma Cottage.

Morning tea and a tour of the house was provided. The visiting group self catered a BBQ lunch, and a great time was had.
