🎉 Congratulations to Russell Kenner, our $500 Giveaway Winner! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that Russell Kenner was the lucky recipient of our $500 giveaway! Russell and his wife Nola were entry #18, randomly selected from more than 350 online ticket holders who purchased to attend this year’s Yarrawonga Powerboat Spectacular.

After contacting Russell with the good news, we discovered an incredible piece of history behind his win. Russell’s father built the iconic boat “The Jet” back in 1960, a machine that still holds the Australian water‑speed record for 50 cubic inch displacement boats.

To this day, “The Jet” is still running strong and continues to appear at Classic Australian Wooden Powerboat Association gatherings. You’ll even spot it proudly featured on both Russell’s and Nola’s shirts in the photo below.

A huge congratulations to Russell and Nola, and thank you to everyone who entered and supported this year’s event!
