Lambington dropped in to this morning's working bee to see whether he could help/supervise. While Andrew Norton was completing the roo fence, Peter Hawker was levelling a stage area, and Allan Whellum was extending the cover over the bar area. He was particularly pleased to see how well the new grass is growing despite the interest of the local kangaroos. Show Day is getting very close now - Saturday, Oct 3.

Here’s another reason to bring the kids along on Show Day!
Fleurieu Marine Education will be at the Yankalilla Show all day with touch tables and hands-on activities to help children investigate and explore our marine world.
There will be plenty to discover about beach care, beachcombing and how we can share our beaches with vulnerable Hooded Plovers.
SAT. OCT. 3rd, 9am-4pm.

FUN TRAILER!
Sometimes the simple games are still the best!
The Whites Country Shows Fun Trailer will be at this year's Yankalilla Show with games to play together — chess, quoits, snakes and ladders, hoops and wooden musical instruments.
Bring a friend, challenge Mum or Dad, or just stop for a play between the other Show attractions.

Two handy ways to get ready for the 2026 Yankalilla Show.
For the first time, entries for all Show sections can be made online through the Yankalilla Show website. Prefer the traditional method? Entry forms can still be downloaded or collected from the Normanville Shopping Mall.
And if you'd like your own copy of the 2026 Show Book, download a membership form to join through the website.
Whether you're entering, planning your exhibits — or simply looking forward to Show Day — now's a good time to get organised.

Congratulations. Annabel!

🌊 Big congrats to Annabel Manfield (our Female Nipper of the Year), for winning second prize at the recent Yankalilla Show with her awesome photo of the Normanville SLSC women’s surf boat crew in action!

Annabel was absolutely thrilled to receive a ribbon as it was her first time entering her photography in the show, where she scored two 2nd places! 🎉

We’re so proud of Annabel and can’t wait to see more of her talent behind the lens. Her photo of the Normy surf boat was getting lots of attention at the show, and we’re encouraging her to follow her photography passion. She’ll even be helping us capture some moments this season for next year’s annual report! 💙📷🚣‍♀️

Well done, Annabel, what an amazing achievement both on and off the beach! 👏
