Our AGM is on TONIGHT at the Yackandandah Senior Citizens Hall.

Come along, say hello, and help shape the 2027 Yackandandah Folk Festival (19–21 March 2027). Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends!

Tonight's Schedule:
6:45 PM – Live music by Laylah Baines (our 2026 Yaccoustica winner!)
7:00 PM – General Meeting & Executive Elections
Stick around after the meeting for light refreshments

All executive positions are up for election tonight (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer), and we are actively seeking new candidates for President and Vice President.

Reminder: Anyone can attend, but you must be a registered member to vote. Membership is 100% free. Email [email protected] to sign up before the meeting.

EOI EXTENDED FOR OUR 2027 STREET PARADE ARTIST!

We’ve extended the Expression of Interest (EOI) deadline for creative minds interested in heading up the Opening Street Parade for the 30th Yackandandah Folk Festival!

If you have a big imagination and love bringing community together through creative projects, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s involved?
• Design the creative vision for the 2027 Opening Street Parade
• Run 2 x interactive community workshops
• Collaborate with our local schools, businesses, and community groups
• Help generate ideas for costumes, banners, and props
• Note: Artist fees are NAVA-aligned, plus a materials budget is provided.

Hey everyone! We have a really exciting, paid opportunity for an artist to help us shape a massive milestone for our town.

For the 30th anniversary of the Yackandandah Folk Festival in 2027, we're looking for a lead artist to design the vision for the Opening Street Parade.

This is a fully funded role (fees are NAVA-aligned, plus a materials budget), and you'll be working closely with our local schools, community groups, and businesses to run a couple of workshops and bring the costumes, banners, and props to life.

If you love community arts and want to help us make the 30th anniversary unforgettable, we’d love to hear from you.

Hi folks. 2026 festival favourites Grainne Hunt and Jude, are currently part way through their US tour. They’re looking to crowdfund a new album. Please feel free to share the link below and maybe consider making a contribution if you’re able. Many of the tunes they played at YFF this year, will be on the album.

Help Gráinne record her next album, Somewhere I Called Home. Pre-order vinyl, CDs and merch, and help support an independent artist.

For those who are still waiting on payments, they should be with you very soon. Some of your emails have been ending up in Junk/Spam folders by mistake so sit tight and we'll get it sorted.
