Mick's Golf Challenge Brisbane local Mick McLoughlin is aiming to beat the world record of 2000+ golf holes in 7 days.

The challenge will also aim to raise $250,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East QLD. 21-27 November at Wynnum Golf Club.

He's on the final stretch! Just after 6am this morning Mick started his 100th round with just 11 rounds and 3 holes to go.

Check out yesterday's highlights below, then get in on the celebrations at Wynnum Golf Club from 12pm today! Bring your friends and family and enjoy a charity BBQ and a beer or two from Moffat Beach Brewing Co., face painting for the kids and more, all raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland.

At the close of day 5 (yesterday), Mick had played 1458 holes (81 rounds). He's got a message for the current world record holder, Geno Bonnalie: "Say goodbye to your world record because Mick's taking it off you!"

Yesterday Mick had the support of many lovely ladies and gents as they attended the Ladies Lunch, supporting Mick's Golf Challenge and helping to raise $250,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland.

It's day 6 and conditions are looking better. Go Mick go!
