From the gritty streets of Woolloomooloo, Sydney’s inner-city pulse flows through the beats and bars of Seven Beretta.

Music and dance were in his DNA from day one, propelling him into the underground Hip Hop scene where he made serious waves. By the end of 2022, his self-funded debut track, Arabian Nights, racked up over 200,000 Spotify streams, proving he was one to watch.

With tracks like HaHaHa and Spain, Seven’s star was on the rise, but he took a step back to recalibrate and rethink his sound.

Now, Seven is back—sharper, stronger, and more evolved. His latest single, Why?, digs into the raw realities of love, ambition, and survival, all inspired by personal stories from Sydney’s inner-city housing precincts.

Get ready, because Seven Beretta is bringing a new energy, and 2025 is shaping up to be the year he sets the scene on fire!

🎨 Graffiti Legends: DAYS ONE & KADE Return 🎨

We’re stoked to have DAYS ONE DCA and Simon Murray aka Kade—two of Sydney’s finest graffiti artists—returning to bring their talents to this year’s festival!

Both Days and Kade contributed to last year’s incredible 50 years of hip-hop mural, a stunning tribute that captured the energy and legacy of the culture. Their collaboration brought color, life, and history to the walls, making it one of the standout pieces of the event.

DAYS ONE DCA, hailing from Erskineville, has been pushing the boundaries of graffiti since the early ’90s. With his NYC Subway-style graffiti, Days keeps the roots of traditional graffiti alive in every mural he creates, ensuring that this year’s festival will be just as visually epic as always.

Kade, from Redfern, started his graffiti journey in 1984 and has been an active figure in Sydney’s scene for over 40 years. His work continues to draw inspiration from the origins of subway graffiti, staying true to the culture while evolving with the times.

Both legends are back this year, and we can’t wait to see what fresh masterpiece they’ll be creating!

🎤 Meet Crookey 🎤 A must Story to read 👀

Hailing from Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast, Crookey moved to Sydney in 2021 to escape a life of substance abuse, which began when he was just 12 years old. By his early twenties, he was battling full-blown m**h addiction and spent extended periods in psych wards, where he was medicated against his will to avoid longer stays.

After four years on anti-psychotic medication, Crookey hit rock bottom and had a life-changing epiphany. Feeling the call of God, he successfully completed a rehabilitation program, turning his life around. Today, as a talented multimedia artist, Crookey uses his experiences to inspire others, rapping about the trials he overcame with the hope of helping those on similar paths.

Recently, Crookey showcased his artwork at Canberra’s Powerhouse Museum and traveled to Cape York for mission work. He connected with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, running programs focused on su***de prevention and mental wellness, while working alongside Traditional owners and elders of the land.
