We can’t wait to welcome you to Woodfordia this Sunday for a relaxed day by the lake.

Pack your swimmers, picnic rug and sense of adventure. There’ll be shady spots, soccer nets, a volleyball court, a sandpit for the little ones, and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the day. For those who want a little adventure, ride our Scenic trail....

Come for a swim, a wander, a bite to eat, or simply to soak up a little Woodfordia magic.

You’re welcome to come anytime and stay as long as you like between 10am and 4pm..

Music by Frank and Louis, 11.45am-12.45pm and Barleyshakes Duo 1.15pm-2.15pm.

The sausages will be sizzling, the bar will be open from 12pm.

Hey locals… ever wondered what Woodfordia feels like when it’s just us?

We’re opening for Woodfordia Locals Day and inviting our neighbouring communities to come wander, swim, connect and simply enjoy this beautiful place together. No festival crowds. No rush. Just fresh air, music, lake swims and a relaxed day on the land.

Whether you’re a Lions crew, Men’s Shed legends, a family tribe, a bike rider, professional picnic-er, a nature lover or just curious… this is your invitation to come and play local.

At Woodfordia, we’re building a Forest of Goodwill, working to protect 500 acres of land that’s home to the Woodford Folk Festival, Lake Gkula Camping, and our living cultural community.

This campaign is about more than land, it’s about protecting creativity, connection, and the values that make this place what it is.

Our ambassador Kate Miller-Heidke says it best:

Through A Forest of Goodwill, we’re working to protect and secure 500 acres of our festival home, so the stories, music and connection that have thrived here for decades can continue for generations to come.

Our community has already raised over $1.2 million toward our $5.7 million goal, and the generosity of Woodfordians everywhere keeps the dream alive. 💚
