Well they have done it AGAIN! Garrett metal Detectors have jumped on Board the MDWC and will be flying folks over from the US to compete it sounds like. They are also Sending the Legends Warren and Colleen from NQ Explorers and I hear there is some excess baggage that they are bringing for some lucky Aussie Detectorists.
HUGE Shout out to the Team at Garrett metal Detectors who haven't missed an MDWC Yet.

This year we will hold the event on October 4-5th 2025 at the Amazing Sofala showgrounds. A full program is being worked on Now and we will have many more details as we get closer to the event. This year we have reduced the price of a competitors ticket substantialy from previous years. We are very close to Sydney and want to encourage as many as possible to take on the challenge of Beating Trevor and becoming the next Metal Detecting World Champion!...

Edit with dates: Anyone Keen for the 4th Metal Detecting World Championship this year? I may have booked a site just in case.
Pictured: 3 Time Winner, XP Deus GOD, Trev.

Location will be Sofala showground October long weekend. Start Friday 3rd 4pm-ish
Finish Sunday 5th about 3pm-ish.
Lol had reports people are booking stuff. I've got camping covered, if you want to stay in Bathurst I'd get on it soon.
