We are so excited to announce that the incredible Tony McManus will be joining us on our walk for mental health!

As the first stop on our walk this Saturday, 28th March, Tony will be sharing his powerful story and insights with us.

🗓️ When: Saturday, 28th March, from 11:30 am
📍 Where: The corner of Peel Street and Connewarre Rd
🗣️ What: A 15-minute talk followed by a Q&A session

After his brother Mick tragically took his own life, Tony became a passionate advocate for mental health. He was instrumental in establishing the AFL's "beyondblue Cup" and is a National Ambassador for beyondblue and a Community Ambassador for RU OK?

This is more than just a talk; it's a chance to connect. Tony will be sticking around for a while for one-on-one chats. Feel free to hang back and talk with him before hopping on the bus to rejoin the group.

Come and be moved by his powerful belief that “the best exercise that you can do is to help someone who is down to get up again.”

Join us to walk, talk, and connect. You are not alone.

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March 2026, Conquer the Corrugations Victoria will once again bring people together to support mental health awareness and help break the stigma.

This incredible event sees participants travelling between Inverleigh and Winchelsea, connecting communities, sharing stories, and showing support for those impacted by mental health challenges.

But you do not have to walk to be part of it.

There are so many meaningful ways to get involved.

You can volunteer your time helping with registrations, refreshments or cheering participants along the route. You can join the support crew or simply come along to the finish line in Winchelsea to celebrate, connect and show your support.

Every conversation matters. Every step matters. Every person who shows up helps make a difference.

If this cause means something to you, we would love to see you there.

What a day for Winchelsea!

The official opening of the Winchelsea Community Bank Village was a huge success — and what a milestone for our town. 🌟

We were super blessed to have two former Bendigo Bank CEO and Managing Directors joining us for the celebration. Rob Hunt, who pioneered the Community Bank model 28 years ago, and Marnie Baker who presently sits on the Reserve Bank board. Both Rob and Marnie have been great supporters of what we have achieved locally and have been instrumental in the success of the Community Bank model.

This incredible project, five years in the making, showcases the true power of the Community Bank model — investing profits back into meaningful community infrastructure that delivers both social and economic benefits.

Born from a vision to keep long-term Winchelsea residents connected to their community, the project was spearheaded by Corangamite Financial Services Ltd, the company behind the Anglesea, Winchelsea and Lorne Community Bank branches. With $1.5 million in seed capital and additional support from Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, this dream became a reality.

Ten beautiful two-bedroom homes, each with a 9-star energy rating, now provide much-needed downsizing options for locals — freeing up family homes and strengthening the heart of our community.

It’s the first of its kind — a social enterprise built by the community, for the community.

We couldn’t be prouder of what’s been achieved. ❤️
