🌸 We’re getting ready… 🌸

Planning is officially underway for the 2026 Willunga Almond Blossom Festival, and we’re so excited to bring this much-loved event back to the community.

As we start pulling everything together, we’re now opening up Expressions of Interest for this year’s festival.

If it’s something you’ve always wanted to be part of, now might be the time.

We’re looking for a vibrant mix of:
✨ Stallholders
✨ Entertainers and performers

From local makers and unique finds to interactive experiences and live performances, it’s all about creating a weekend people want to wander, explore and enjoy.

We live in such a beautiful bit of the world!There is still so many blossoms out and about, follow our drive along maps to see them in all their beauty 🌸

🌸Spring is just around the corner, and nature’s first sign is here — the almond blossoms are in full bloom! Their delicate pink and white petals are a breath-taking reminder that warmer days are on the way.

Now is the perfect time to get outside, soak in the fresh air, and enjoy this stunning seasonal display.

Pop into the Visitor Centre and chat with our friendly volunteers — they’ll point you to the most picturesque places to view and snap the blossoms.

The 2025 Cookery competition was amazing we had some beautiful creations by all ages and a few wonderful festival cakes that made.

Here is a couple photos from the weekend we would like to share with you all -

Thank you to absolutely everyone who came over the weekend!

We had light showers yesterday and the sun was out quite a few times today, we are very lucky the wind stayed away so the fireworks could go off for all to enjoy and the rides kept going all weekend.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all who came and supported us at Rec Park with our fundraiser, all the local handmade goodies the awesome food my tummy and my hands are full and we look forward to next year!!

It was great to have Lily and Grace from Willunga High School helping out as junior judges in the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival Cookery Competition today!

All cakes and cookies and other almond goodies are in and judged and ready to be in on display in the 'Almond Hub' tent.

Ride are set up, stalls are setting up and foodies are rolling in!

Yes we are still running this weekend!

There will be a few showers over the day but we are adding as much extra shelter as possible in waiting areas and eating spaces.

Without the help form you the amazing sponsors we would not be able to continue this amazing family weekend festival.

We have been running for over 50 years to help raise funds to keep the Recreation Park up and running to the best possible, this means any upgrades even simple maintenance to the grounds comes from our pocket and sporting grants that we apply for over the years. A few of our latest things are new air conditioners in the show hall, the oval is set to be revamped with a new sprinkler system we look forward to where the park is heading into the future.

Cookery Entries Close Tonight!

Have you got your baking ready to go?
This year we are so thankful to our Cookery Sponsors - and of course our local talented judges who have donated their skills and time.

We love to see all that you can come up with based on Almonds.
Join in the fun and enter our 2025 Cookery Competition with this years festival cake a recipe from Andrea Ball at The Green Gourmet.
This cake is made beautifully moist and fragrant thanks to the South Australian extra virgin olive oil which replaces the usual butter. Choose a fruity, late-harvest olive oil (we used Nangkita), and be sure to measure your oil in grams on a scale, which isn’t the same quantity as mls in a cup!
